Writers:Share - Get paid to leave comments!

I wonder if this writers:share will turn out to be a big con? The OP posted about the website on 20/03/2008 - just five days after the website was registered by Nominet to Matthew Roberts.

Matthew Roberts has told Nominet that he is a non-trading individual in order that he can hide his contact details! But if Matthew Roberts is paying people then he clearly is trading!

You will also note that there is no contact address for writers:share on the website and it seems writers do not create accounts to post comments but merely submit their PayPal account details.

I think the purpose of this website needs to be investigated a little more thoroughly.

Well I'm not a happy bunny at the moment! I've just received an email from WS telling me that one of my articles has been rejected due to one of two reasons (they didn't say which), one was that it was too short as they require 150 words or more (my article was 280 words long) or the other reason was that it was not 'original'.

I have just replied to their email pointing out that the article was well over the required length and assuring them that I never, ever copy other people's work. I am spitting feathers at the thought! I write a lot on the Internet and the copying of other writers' work is one of my pet hates.

I don't mind being rejected if the article is no good but being accused of copying someone else's work.....:mad:

I wait to see if they reply.

It does annoy me when they reject comments that you know you have clearly written yourselves, i'm sure it's just a big fat get out clause. anyway i've had 2 emails from them today one rejection and one acceptance woo hoo how excited am i? I can't wait for my pound what can i buy hhhhmmmmmmmmmm i suppose it all helps.

I'm glad some of you have had acceptances, wonder what their current criteria for acceptance/rejection is? Order of submission? Don't like your email address? Ib-dib, you're out?

after all that they rejected both my reviews!!!!

i done 2 to test it out before all the problems started and have been waiting and waiting and waiting! :mad:
