Looks like geordie joe's analysis of the situation could be correct with the amount of rejection e-mails people are receving, in comparison to their normal acceptance rate.0
-
It would be good to know more about the acceptance/rejection criteria, maybe when the technical problems are sorted and things are on a more permanent footing we may be able to see trends etc.
I got 7 acceptance emails today, with the promise of payment tomorrow, but am wondering about last week's acceptance emails. I haven't had any rejections today. Most of my acceptance emails were for the older comments, so maybe they are sorting the older ones first. Hard to know how things will pan out but it will be interesting to see how many of us get paid tomorrow.0 -
I too have a rejection email citing too short a word count and plagiarised text as the two biggest problems they see. And, as with everyone else, my comment doesn't fall under either of these catagories: The word count was 190+, and...excuse me, W:S...I do not, and never have plagiarised anyone else's words. I don't need to.
They really need to get their system sorted out. This is obviously automated, and utterly unreliable.0 -
Has anyone else noticed that all of Writers:Shares posts have been deleted, I guess because they had their account on here stopped. Managed to find this quoted by Geordie Joe further back in this thread:

However the typical reasons why we reject comments are:
1) They are copied in part or in full ( We have automatic checks to make sure)
2) Those of comment are is poor English - Will be rejected - obviously.
3) Short comments.
4) Comments written with $(*&£$ foul language!
In that respect, you are welcome to do what you like with the rejected comments but we'd like to think there is little value for comments listed above.
Hope this helps!
Seems to me that they have changed their minds on their acceptance criteria since they wrote this. The ones I have had rejected didn't fall into any of these catagories.0 -
I have had another 3 acceptances this morning, and again they say payment will be credited to Paypal tomorrow. Maybe they are going to pay on an ongoing basis, well will see today if yesterday's acceptances are paid today.0

I think your post fell into the 5th catagory which they forgot to mention
5) can't afford to pay for it.0 -
I've received another five acceptances this morning. I hope they're paid soon.0

Well, they seem to be rejecting all my remaining comments for no good reason, I don't think it's because of the trouble I had submitting them.
NOT happy ...0 -
theyve been acepting all of my remaining comments, i would have though that if they were trying to cut costs they would spread it out as best as possible =/0
