Morning!
I over laid again this morning:o I am usually up just before 6am but today like yesterday more like 7:o  Ah well it's last day of work:T mind you I have to travel up to Leatherhead today for a meeting and no doubt the M25 will be stacked up with caravans with peeps going away for the weekend.
OH is working all weekend so I am going to have a good spring clean starting tomorrow, this house at the moment looks like a clothes shop, where ever I look there are clothes and it's driving me mad:mad:
Huge hugs to smoky and anyone else if they want one:D
have a good day everyone x0 -
Ooops, ignore me Aussie, I'm talking rubbish (for a change)
Just read Redrubys post and realised what you meant about the date
Ageandjo, if you get stuck behind a caravan, don't blame me, we're going tomorrowYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Morning one and all.
My thoughts are with anyone who needs them, especially Smokey and family. Anyone who doesn't feel strong enough to deal with whatever life throws at them can gladly lean on me. I've not much to offer but if you need it, it's yours.
First Bank holiday of the year and we get invaded by caravans today. Am I bothered? No, because I'm in charge. What I say goes, and I will chastise any children who think it's fun to build dams in "my" streamsThink about Mr Partridge, the Punch and Judy man from "Hi-de-hi" and you get the picture :rotfl: Anyone caught enjoying themselves will be dealt with suitably. Whaddya think this place is, holiday camp??
Opened the curtains to a garden full of birds as well. Goldfinches and Siskins on the niger seed feeder, the mixed seed feeders have been emptied all over the floor, as usual, by the Greenfinches after the sunflower seeds and a gang odf Pigeons are now hoovering up. The male Chaffinches are starting to get their breeding colours now and gorgeous they are too. At some point, I'll get the digiscope set up and try to get some close-up shots of these chaps.
For breakfast today, I will mostly be eating Te$co's value muesli with leftover d'oh-nuts and a big pot of tea. Healthy? no. Happy? yes :j
Have a good day and take care.

Good morning everyone! We're all on holiday now (apart from DH who finishes today) :j so I really hope it's only the 20th today, or I've missed my flight to Italy and my week's holiday  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Had another dreadful day at w*** yesterday, so I'm really glad that I'm not in today. Saw a perfect job advertised (in another CAB) so I've printed off the forms for that and will be filling it in while I'm away.
Hugs for you all, especially smoky.
Enjoy your day, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Morning.
I am quite comfortable in my office drinking coffee. I had a great day yesterday although very tiring. I went to work on Tuesday for my last 3- 12 shift of a run of 7. During the day I got a call to see if I wanted to go fishing the next morning. It was not a difficult decision. So going to bed at 1am, I then got up at 5am to go to Plymouth to catch the boat. Fab day though, a little cold, but I had the warm gear. There was loads of fish caught.... By the time I got home at 8pm, I was knackered. I have 25lbs of skinless bonessless fish fillets in my fridge, so I guess I got my money's worth. I had one of the smallest bags too! One guy must have taken 100lbs of fillet home.
Back to reality, there is stuff all over the house as my son is expecting his room to be decorated today.... Fat chance. I am off out at 3pm for a meeting and curry....
Might get the filling in done and the first coat...
Busy weekend ahead. Hav'nt got any eggs yet either.
Have a nice one. I am looking forward to my 5 days off....NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0 -
