Apply for the account and then when you have your new account number, get someone here who already has an account to "refer" you by filling in a form. You'll get £50 and several people on here will also give you £40 of the £50 they receive, me included :)

See this thread for more info.

    All the best

Went on the A&L site today, can only see the statement, "join and we will give you £25" how do you get the extra £50?
You missed Recommend a Friend link in the 'Useful Links' box. Also be aware that you can get Extra £30 if you open A&L Premium Plus account... (on the top of £25+£50)

I have a Premier Plus Account, and I remember when I opened it, they offered me an extra £25 if I wanted a credit card. I didn't then, but I do now - can anyone tell me if this offer is still going ? Have had a look, but nothing came up.

IIRC it's only if you opened the accounts at the same time.

    Hi there,
I had applied online for their premier plus account. Got an email immediately that the decision about my account wil be conveyed in 24 h time. After 24 hr time got another mail telling me that I will be notified within next 48 hours. But ever since i havent received any information from them.
Does this mean I have been refused the account or have they forgotton it.

Should I contact them? By mail or by the phone.

    Thanks
I wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T

Can someone tell me how long it takes for the £50 bonus to be credited. I opened my account on 6 July and put funds in a couple of weeks later but no bonus as yet.

  • Took them about 4 weeks to credit me.
  • Can take upto 8 weeks...

Best ring them and see though... their customer service is !!!!!! though so don't expect the answer to be correct... they'll b*llsh*t to make themselves sound good..

(PS sorry about the rant but A+L have annoyed me! - they put my debit before my credit and I went over my limit by £30 and they charged my £25 TWICE for paid item charges!!! - needless to say that as they won't remove these charges I'll be waving bye to them ASAP...)
If at first you don't succeed... CHEAT...
