I received a cookbook in the post this morning.

Ooooo - new cookbook :T. So what's for tea then?

(If I cook anything 'new' that OH & kids don't like for tea then the dogs get for breakfast in the morning. Very Money Saving :D. Have to be a bit careful though as the errmmm.....after effects can be a bit surprising. Three dogs with 'Disaster Bottom' anyone?)

You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.

Any way sorry for rant, feel better now :D

Rant away if it helps. I have first-hand experience of this kind of thing so I know exactly where you're coming from. It's too long a story for me to go into but as a result of what I learned a few years ago, my entire childhood was re-defined and I now wonder if the "Golden Years" actually were
You're not on your own with this, as I've just said somewhere else but I can't think where because my memory is like one of those mesh things that you wash, err, stuff in under the, err, thing where the, err, wet stuff comes from. See??

I REALLY REALLY REALLY need a smilie that depicts someone who's not only ROTFL but has tears streaming down his face, has completely lost all control and is choking with laughter and is on the verge of wetting himself :D:D:D

    Afternoon everyone.
Got loads done since last post, hoovered the car, emptyed 2 wash baskets and put most of the clean stuff away, prepared a tuna pasta bake for tea, good old tidy up done.

Crazychick phoned me on her dinner hour, they are still treating her awful at work, but told her about Roz-V post and that has cheered her up.

Right off to finish off then nip post office before school runs.

    Hello eveyone!

I have been on the site for a while now, but was mainly around the property/mortgage bits as we were moving house.

The new house needs a lot of redecorating, so have been cutting the budgets back so that we can save to get stuff done, so have been popping into OS board to get ideas. Have got totally addicted now, so thought better introduce myself!

    Hello all and welcome kmate

Grabbed the best part of the weather today and went shopping......sun was shining and it was quite nice.......bit grey and grim now.
Got a few more bits and pieces for birthday/christmas baskets, got photocopying done thats long overdue then came home.
OH's been and got DVD disc/cleaner - see if thats the answer to dvd problem of the machine saying that all the discs we have are 'bad discs' when we've already played them before. Hope it does the trick otherwise it means new dvd player............they're cheap enough but its where to put it ? Can't get rid of the video player (too many videos) -can't really afford to get another dvd/video player combined............like spaghetti junction behind out tele !
If we do end up having to get a new machine I think I'll go out for the day cos I know how much muttering and swearing there'll be................lol

Have a good day all and hugs ((((((((((((:o ))))))))))))))) to those who need them
