    That has made me laugh.

And then, when you take into account fuel costs to get to any job, it's a huge saving.

I've got my online introduction session in 20 minutes - sat here now with coffee and notepad. Anyone else from here on it?

I'm not on it Daffodil..Amy said it is the next step but I haven't recieved a date/time yet.. Let us know how it goes :)
  • Just finished. Amy was very helpful. Only one person out of 6 could access the online meeting place so it was really just a conference call. I think most of the things that were covered have already been discussed on here. She did say there are 3 training dates for inbound sales in August, 4th (and tentatively booked in) 11th and 18th.

It's all pretty straight forward really. Hope you get some dates soon.
  • Can I ask your name as there were 2 people who didn't attend? I wonder if you were one of them and didn't recieve the email?

    Will PM you now :)
  • Can anyone tell me what the Team Leader position involves? I've been asked to apply for it and have a chat with Amy booked for next week. I have been told that it won't affect my existing job offer for the inbound sales if I don't take the Team Leader position.

I'm just curious as to what the position entails?

Well done Daffodil - sounds promising :)

I have my conference call tomorrow at 4.30pm..do you just call the number and log in online a couple of minutes before?

I've just remembered I still needed to complete the technical assessment so I've just done it but my computer failed because I'm wireless atm.. Don't want to spend too much money if I haven't definitely got the job yet. Is there a cheap way around this?? And has any one been told they haven't been successful for the position after they have done the conference call etc..

    Thanks
  • Hi
I am wireless at the moment, but we found an old ethernet cable and attached that to do the test. We are having a new line installed as I don't want to tie up the home phone every evening. Plus, I've just moved our business home so the cost of the new line can be put through that!!

Ethernet cables don't cost more that a few pounds (a fiver at the very most). How far away from the modem is your computer? If it's only a few feet you won't pay more than £2 for a cable.

Good luck with the conference call. It is very informative and there isn't a problem if you can't get the online presentation to work. Amy covers all you need to know in good detail and there is a Q & A session at the end. I say down about minutes beforehand, armed with coffee, notepad and pen and dialled in. It was rather funny as most hadn't been on a conference call before, so before Amy logged in there was silence....with coughs, sneezes, humming etc all going on!!

Let me know hoe you find it.
    xx

    Just wanted to say hi,

I've been posting on the other thread about TeleTech - very confusing having 2 threads.

I'm starting training on 4 August and looking forward to it. A couple of others (Vicc.jazz and Messenger) posting on the other thread are also due to start then.

I've got most things sorted, just need to sort out my computer.

Am I right in saying that the workbooth will not work while I'm connected wirelessly?

Also if I then connect by ethernet cable, will my wife still be able to use her wireless laptop at the same time?

  • Looks like a few of us are on the 4th August training. I don't know if I'll still be on that if I do get offered a team leader role. Can I just say good luck to everyone.

Rufus, are you on the sales course? As far as I know Workbooth will not load if you are connected wirelessly. And yes, the wireless connection for other computers will work.
