You ususally get your rota in the third week of training and it does not tend to change much- the hours are generally fixed at 4.30 to 11pm (except Sat and Sun when you would be working either the morning or afternoon shift). However, they also try to ensure that you have two days of together in a week - I was off on a Wed and Thursday although my shifts have now changed as I now work 34 hrs per week. You should be able to arrange a Thursday night but failing that you could swap a shift with another agent.

Thanks for that I will only be doing 22 hours I believe, but after training I will be struggling on thursdays ( & now that I have told them you can bet that they will put me to work on a thursday just because they can!!!!) can do all day on a sat or sun??? & Amy said they wasn't an issue as long as I can do weekend now shes changed her tune......
    Oh well
    thanks

  • I applied for a job with teletech a few days ago and have received the email with assessments. I have completed the skills assessment but I am having trouble with the technical assessment of my computer. I cannot get any further than 'post information' as when I click the button a new window opens saying 'internet explorer cannot open webpage'. I have tried using firefox and my bt browser but no luck. When I try typing an address into the page that has opened I get the same error. I am connected to internet and tried all the diagnosis help. Any ideas?

Hi I have asked the guys on the 'tech' forum to look at your questions and advise- they are fantastic - they have helped all us with our various computer problems and logging into workbooth etc - hopefuly they will get back to you soon.

There was an issue with the link pointing to the wrong place for a while. You may need to contact the live support people for help with it, we got the link fixed once and it may be that the linkage has been set incorrectly again.
Can you right click the link and paste it into a post? Also who is you internet provider?

just completed first night of training. quite eventful lol. just one question they said hours depend on client need, is there a lot of changing hours ie 22 hrs then 10 hrs back to 22 hrs or is it quite regular? once again thanks oliver for posting the job as i wouldnt have found it otherwise:beer:

Well on the tech side, you are on a fixed amount of hrs every week
and then if there is OT you can request this on top of your normal hrs

Every so often a shift bid will come up this allows you to adjust your rota
depending on changes in client demand but this hasnt been a common thing

I am pretty sure its the same in sales, I haven't heard of them changing
your hrs every week or anything like that anyway.
