i have been trying to get meetingplace to work, i am using either firefox version 2 (have tried version 3) and internet explorer 7
it passes all the tests, but fails on connection and gives a time out error on FLASH CON
i have removed and reinstalled adobe flash, i have tried other browser tests on different companys and that works fine
has anyone had the same problem and managed to fix it
thanks0 -

Also usually recommended that you stick to firefox for this but a lot of us had problems accessing meetingplace or teletech univeristy and had to do it via internet explorer - trial and error really.
I (and others) also had to get a belkin adapter sent to us from Teletech due to a problem of getting workbooth to connect to internet .
Oiver27 and Paul K on the other forum are very good at advising people on getting this up and running - it may be good if you sent them a pm perhaps or posted on that forum - they are tech support guys and are very knowledgeable.:beer:Auddel0 -

Hi - not sure if this helps but make sure pop up blocker is disabled on both firefox and internet explorer.

other browser tests with differeny companys work just fine..
just curious, did you have to send your p45 to them, so they knew what tax code to put you on. i don't have a p45 and will have to do a p46 but not sure how it works if they do not request a p45?
thanks0 -
I did not have a p45 either and did request a P46 in my first week - and to be honest - I am still waiting for it. However, I do not believe any of us were put onto emergency tax code or anything- all the wages were fine. I did get confirmation from the Tax office that they had sent my new tax code to ******* in Teletech, Belfast, about 2 weeks ago and any over paid tax would be refunded in my pay. I was not due any refunds and the next pay period my pay was adjusted to take in new code. So I think they do pay you correctly from the beginning and then make any necessary adjustments when tax office sorts out yur tax code.Auddel0

techmob - if you are still having problems ask for a belin adapter to be sent out to you - this seemed to help our problems or ask Oliver or Paul on the other forum. You could also go onto live call and tell them you are having probs - they can get one of the tech guys to phone you to see what is happening and sort it out.Auddel0

yeah but it just stays on connecting and then has a failed message
i can connect through the workbooth so thats all that matters really
