My Teletech disc arrived this morning and I installed it on the laptop which passed the initial system test. I did the reboot after popping the disc in the drive and after some faffing about got the Workbooth screen but did not get the pop up box into which to put the Project Code. I assume I did not connect with the Workbooth Server ??
I popped the disc into my main desktop PC (which did not pass the initial system test) and was able to detail the Project Code but eventually got a fail message stating that my 1000 Gig something was not big enough ???
Any ideas what I can be doing until I preseumably contact Tech Support on Monday.
Additionally has your training started to explain the 'clients' processes yet or is it just based around 'customer service' in general. Do you get sent some manuals about the clients processes so that you have answers ready for customers when they call ?
Thanks
1. make sure you have your wireless completely switched of
2. make sure you are connected to your router thing by ethernet (it does not work wirelessly at al)
3. I (and many others) had to get a new ethernet card and from what I can gather the one they recommend is a Belkin -if you check through some of the posts here and on the other forum you should get the details of it.
the FAQ's on the teletech website is also worth looking at.Auddel0 -

I too am down for 22 hours but i was told both during recruitment and interview that it was 4 hour shifts. I am really hoping i don't get the 4.30 - 11 shifts twice a week (fingers crossed). I can do them but as a mother thats gonna be a bit harsh on my kids. i've got a funny feeling about it though lol. its strange they asked you to start at 8.30am on a sunday morning though - i personally wouldn't have thought it would be that busy with calls at that time. i think its better to have calls one after the other rather than in dribs and drabs as then the shift goes quicker.
Hi, yes I was told they were 4 hr shifts during the week and one at the weekend,
wonder why they changed. Working the two days at the weekend is a bummer, but needs must and all that. The only one that is really causing me a problem is the sunday, if I could have finished for 1pm it would have suited better.Auddel0 -
Hi,
I've tried for days now, to get the 'MatchPoint Fit' assessment to load, to no avail. I'm just about at the end of my tether with the whole TeleTech idea!
I'm trying to apply for the Inbound Sales job with TeleTech, but I can't get the assessement to load!
I've tried using different browsers - Safari, FireFox and IE all via Mac OS X.
Before anybody tells me that TeleTech don't support Mac, I'm led to believe that as I have an Intel powered Mac, I should be OK (going by a post on the other TeleTech job thread posted by 'mondayblue').
Their 'Live Help' is well, putting it politely, rather unhelpful, so I'm hoping you seasoned experts will be able to help!
Please, please help me here, as I'm really keen to apply for this job :j
Many Thanks,
Leigh x0 -
sorry auddel i can't help you with the sunday shift im afraid.
Leigh - i really haven't got a clue how to help you. the only thing i can think is that it is a mac (i know thats not what you want to hear - sorry). How about going over to the other TT thread and asking either oliver, paulk or duchy. They seem to be our 'technical' help on sorting out our teletech applications problems. failing that ask live help for the technical help number i think it is an 0207 number but i can't seem to find it at the moment.
jackie - sorry i am a bit of a dunce on the techi side of things too. try posting your problem on the other thread. Regarding training we have to take notes. we do not get hard copies of anything. having said that there are systems in place that you can use to help you.0 -

Thanks specsappeal,
I've just tried going through Windows XP on my Mac, and I got the test to work!
I've only just this minute submitted my 'MatchPoint Fit' test results for my application (Inbound Sales)..about to submit my whole application from the Teletech site now.
Wish me Luck!
Cheers,
Leigh :j0 -
PS - I've submitted my applications now, both for the Inbound Sales and Customer Service rep jobs.
I'm just worried as I answered honestly, that I have only had '0-6 months contact centre experience'..which is true, strictly speaking, as I haven't worked in a call centre for ages (and then only for 3 months) so i left it off the form.
I'm just worried they'll think that as I've had no 'contact centre' experience, that I'm not up to it!
This is just me being daft I think though, as I have put on the 'CV' within the application form from the TeleTech site, that I worked for a company for 13 years, in an office environment, assisting customers over the phone / PC and Mac work too, so hopefully that will stand out!
How long did it take for you guys to hear anything, after submitting your form online?
One final question, if I may...Should I bother sending off for my CRB from Scotland yet?!
Many Thanks,
Night Night,
Leigh x0 -
i submitted my application and had a call the following day- but bear in mind it is the weekend. you should hear fairly soon though. Good luck. When you speak to them don't bring up the negative points (ie 6 months experience etc) only focus on the good! I wouldn't send off for the disclosure yet. i would wait to see if you are offered a position first. let us know how you get on.0

Many Thanks specsappeal.
I shall 'chill' a bit more, and hope for a call on the mobile this coming week!
Kind Regards,

Although you have to plan ahead I discovered recently that you can book time off in hours. I applied for 1.5 hours leave (my shift that day was 4-7 and I had assumed I needed to book the entire shift) and got it so worked 4-5.30 and so was able to attend the meeting I needed to go to.
Suffering from a cold and larengitis at the moment so can't work which is a pain as no voice doesn't quite work in the Teletech world !I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0
