thanks everyone i have applied now i have my group info session tomorrow at 6pm can anyone tell me does my home phone need to be nera to my computer for this - how does this work - and how long does this last? thanks0

i had trouble logging into the meeting place for the initial group session and so only listened in on the phone. apparently there is a slide show presentation that you can watch too. However just the phone is fine (out of 7 on my initial meeting only 2 could log on to the computer site!)0

Hi all! this sales thread seems to be slipping further and further down the board. I have posted on the other thread but thought i would also put my comments here as they are related to the sales role.
On 1st interview i was told the sales hours were 19 per week. On 2nd interview i was told this had increased to 22 hours per week. just got the email from the trainer and you have to reply and agree to 25 hours per week. Personally, i am a little concerned that they keep upping the hours but have emailed the trainer to get a confirmation of exactly how many hours we HAVE to do. For me as a housewife/mother 20 hours was ideal. i reluctantly agreed with Mike to up it to 22 hours and now they added another 3 hours. Anyway I can just about manage 25 hours if i have to but have started to worry that after training they may increase it even more! Anyway just thought i would make everyone aware. Still looking forward to training on monday night and will hopefully see quite a few other MSEers there!!0 -
I have turned this job down because of this - 19 hours was fine but 22 means a 4:30 - 11pm shift twice a week which if you have young children is almost impossible.0

Hi Kaggy . That's a shame were you due to start the training Monday? I am too a bit concerned now as also have very young children.0

Hi guys,
I have/had been accepted for the sales job, only to find out I cant be hired to start the training on Monday because I am going on holiday 14th-27th of May (Cannes film festival :P)
Amy did say she would be in touch so that I could potentially start training on the new course near the end of May?
I have emailed her to see if this position will still stand for when I come back holiday. Reading through your posts it seems they will contact me in the future to work for them?
I read on the other thread another user on here was in the same boat in regards to holidays so I can only hope that they will let me start training when I am back off holiday, as I was really looking forward to this job0 -
hey All...
Some of you may remember meI was due to start training on the 14th April but was not certain due to the 1 day id miss. Anyway, recruiter got back to me and told me i cant start on the 14th and its vital not to miss any training whatso ever.
But, i do start training on the 2nd class, which will be around the 26th May.
No idea on the hours yet
Livv & Kaggy, Im worried about that too, I have a 7month old, thinking about getting a child carer to come, until my husband gets in from work. If you go with a registered childminder, and depending on your circumstances you can get 80% of their cost paid back.
