If you have one work reference and one personal reference (not family member) that should be OK. I was in a similar situation as my previous company went into liquidation so no longer existed.

Wow Jo now that is commitment :)
I know when I had my interview my recruiter mentioned she was in Seattle and my reply was "But it's 5am there right now !!" Gotta love those time zones LOL
Good luck to everyone training this week.

  • Hi guys.
I have the opticom 210 speakerphone as recommended for training. Have sussed out the speakerphone and how to use it (yes i really can be that thick! lol :rotfl: ) but am not sure how to get it on to and off of mute while on speakerphone - in fact not sure if it is able to. Any help appreciated. I know it's not that important but would set my mind at rest (just in case the door goes/dog barks etc). Thanks!!
Also is it common to have login problems with your NT logins when you first get them?
    Thanks!!!! :D

I am not sure about that phone as I have the model above,
and you just press the mute button on that,

but don't worry to much about it because there's a
mute facility on the conference call you just press *
something they will tell you the exact code in training

And don't worry about your NT logins yet, as long as you
get the project code box pop up then you will be fine,
I imagine the account is disabled at the moment.

You dial to mute on and off-*6 and *7 or something. Don't worry your trainer will tell you MULTIPLE times (and most people still mess up-including me-I got caught out clanking saucepans as dinner was straight after training and I needed to move a pan off the hob before it ended :) ) And we've all heard the sawing wood story LOL

I have turned this job down because of this - 19 hours was fine but 22 means a 4:30 - 11pm shift twice a week which if you have young children is almost impossible.

Were these long shifts both weekend shifts?

I actually prefer 3 longer shifts per week than to be tied just for 4hr shifts but the person I spoke to said they weren't available.
I am beginning to think it depends who interviews you I was interviewed by someone called Adel.
  • they tell u 1 thing and give u something different
