Blindman if you bid for aa room i assumed you couldnt gtee which hotel you would get and i assume the OP would want to be in the same hotel or very near0

I did read the threads even away last year. i just thought that was a good deal..........and dived in ....to my cost...Firstly why oh why didnt you read the las vegas thread first ?
We would never recomend booking a package.
As you have, it may be best to ring the Venetian and explain to them what you have done,( if you had booked direct there would not have been a problem) 1p per minute to ring going through a 3rd part prefix.
Most of venetians suites have 1 king bed and a sofa bed but lots have 2 queen beds and you could get put in one of those.
Just realised you want 2 rooms....you may have to bite the bullet and book a seperate room in which case book it direct with the hotel, go via Fatwallet and look for codes to get reduced rates
wont cancel will just keep my eyes open for another room in the same hotel........0 -
Yea ....would def want to stay in the same hotel.......even if i have to sell my Soul.....or BODY.....lol0

Then Priceline is NOT for you as you may end up in the Palazzo etc.where can i check out priceline ? there are 2 priceline.co.uk and .com
If you read the guide it answers those questions....0 -
What dates are you going0

Dont think Priceline is for me...knowing me would be miles away from my friends....Never been to vegas before.Yes Priceline is where you bid for rooms.
It has both pros and cons.
IMHO you should:
Contact the Venetian (by EMAIL photome!
) and ask how much a room upgrade would cost.
Once you've find that price then look around (on the Las Vegas Thread) for offers at other hotels to price up anything that looks good.
Read the Priceline guide and if that is what you want then you can bid for either a 5* (May be the Palazzo, Venetian or THEhotel) which would cost about $200 per night all in or go for a lower 4* which could be aywhere from $60-$100.
Basically: DON'T PANIC.

Fair enough.
I think you need to calm down and think what you are prepared to accept.
1) Same hotel, booked direct (now) at £922
2) Wait and look for offers (Fat Wallet etc) and book Venetian at an 'Offer' rate (cheaper but may not come up)
3) As 2 but book a close 4* . Cheaper and you can split the week between the Venetian and the 4*. Get two perspectives

Wouldnt it have been easier just to tell me...
You didnt answer why is it best to email ?
If you are not in a hurry then email is obviously free, you actually read what you want to ask and the answer is also in print. Can be a bonus if there are 'arguments' as to who said what later....
I can't argue with the 1p per minute phone, but then that would take me time and research to set up.
BTW
I have emailed the Venetian and they responded the 3 times I sent within about 1hr.
Each to his own.0
