i dont think the tv licence is expensive for what you get. all that entertainment for under £3 a week + the bbcs home produced programmes do tend to be better quality than the commercial channels.

would you really want ads on all channels?

Hi, I agree. I only watch about 10-12 hours of tv a week, if that, but I do listen to the radio mornings and evenings. I would hate it if that was littered with ads. I hate local radio for that reason.

I dislike all bills but council tax is the biggest after my mortgage so I suppose it has to be that one. My water rates are almost £600 a year but I know we're lucky to have access to clean water so I never even think about this.
  • There are so many its difficult to choose.

I think the thing that really annoys me is the monthly payment to my dmp - if I didn't have to pay that, I'd be so much better off.

All my own fault, of course :o

    Oh, and car tax

Council tax. For the past 3 years I have overpaid and have at least had a month refunded...I would rather pay the correct amount in the first place, thank you!!
