For me it would have to be council tax, £108 a month for diddly squat.

If need the police there is never anything they can do (watching little sh1ts vandleise my car is not actual proof) ,

The binmen cost me more money by laving the bin by the road and usually they get blown in to the road, tree or in to the path of the car

I cant get the council to come and sort out the rat infestation under my decking and they have managed to get in the house a few times, i would have to pay £112 for them to come and look but if i were a council tenant or claimed c-tax benefit they would come out free of charge.

The roads are crumbling despite them only being done last year.

The recycling lorry sometimes forgets to do a few houses thus rubbish getting blown all over the street, in fact the whole recycling scheme is a joke.

The town council have increased their little bit by 37.4%, probably to cover the costs of a stupid questionnair last year on how we wanted the budget to be spent....at a cost of £148,000

Grrrrr i hate this bill

I hate my factor bill on the flats I live in. It started off at £10 a month for the first year I was here, 5 years ago, now it regularly hits £100 or more every month. One of my upstairs neighbours gets drunk every now and again, kicks the front door off its hinges because he loses his keys, and we all have to pay for a new door and entryphone system, split 10 ways. Except me and my (retired and disabled) next door neighbour are the only ones who actually have to pay because we're the only ones who've bought our flats, the housing association picks up the bill for everyone else. Including the guy who kicks in the door whenever he feels like it. He's also nearly burned the place down at least twice (billed for repainting the communal areas due to fire damage) and who has to get up at 4am to call the fire brigade... Yup, that would be me, some of the neighbours even had a go at me last time I, ahem, 'saved the building' because they want to be rehoused in bigger or newer flats and I should have let the place burn down a bit more

I think it's a good idea in practice, to split wear and tear and maintenance bills ten ways, but it's being totally abused in my building. You never know how much it's going to be, either, which is a real pain. My neighbour and I were offered the chance to go in for a discussion about setting up a payment plan for the last lot of work, which cost us £250 each and hasn't started yet, four months after we paid for it, but I didn't have any annual leave left and they wouldn't discuss it over the phone

Wow, I thought I was going to say council tax as well, but I've surprised myself :rotfl:

  • I would have to say council tax and tv licence.

Council tax because i used to live in a mobile caravan as it was all i could afford and i was band A, but lived next door to a pub and had a sewers like walking distance away. I paid more to live at that place, than i do now for my 2 bedroom flat in a village that is still band A. I rang the council when i lived at the caravan and was told where i was living was a diserable location.

So a caravan, next to a pub and walking distance from sewers is more diserable than a 2 bedroom flat in a village :rotfl: .

Also i hate the Tv licence. Im from Australia, where nothing like that exists, we simply just have adverts, since im used to it, id rather have that than paying a Tv licence.

Bill Gates, no one should have all that money to themselves.
  • Ben's partner? ;0)

Seriously, the TV licence annoys me - endless repeats or sport!
