THE WATER BILL!!!!!!!!!!! Why should we pay £200 a year for something that falls from the sky???????????

So that their directors can enjoy six figure bonuses, i_a.

TV Licence gets my goat - it doesn't even matter how often or not you make use of the TV (in my case it's very little) you are still forced to pay it. And the only option is 'don't have a TV'.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

council tax. It is daylight robbery. Taxing you for being alive is a terrible thing. My neighbour is having to pay it out of her pension, every time it rises she is poorer.

And even then they won't take your word that you don't have a TV.

Council Tax, def. I know I get a discount because I live alone, but even so it's ninety quid a month and I have the bin man thing where they seem to feel that the bin which is outside my home, with the house number painted on each side AND the lid can't possibly belong to me, so they like leaving it halfway down the road and instead fill the empty space with a bin belonging to someone else...WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM? Maybe if I start leaving my bin in the middle of the road when I go out in the morning on bin day, I might actually find it outside my house when I get home in the evening...*slinks off to feel bitter and shout at postman for some other imagined slight*

It'd be interesting to request a full itemised breakdown of council tax under the freedom of information act -spending right down to the biscuits and toilet paper they get for the office!
then we'd really see what we actually pay for. ( although I've got a feeling it would make me more angry)

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
