Morning everyone! Has anyone else had their tax credits go in today instead of tomorrow? Checked the bank this morning and mine had gone in... very strange but very welcome as we're literally down to fumes in the car! lol!
Anyone up to anything nice today?

It will probably be because of the bank holiday.....you may get next week's early too (but don't spend it early:))
Bloomin' cold on the Lancashire coast today - gritters were out all day yesterday in the blazing sunshine but it was cloudy overnight so no frost & road salt everywhere
Got lots of minutes to type up today
Ironing waiting at home, along with vaccing & mopping the floors
Tesco delivery man brought our wine order - doubled up the value of our vouchers so spent half the usual amount
AND brought Computers for Schools vouchers for the full value
Only 2 more days in work after today until 31/3
Have a good day everyone

Morning all,
Was in a right rush to get everything ready for uni this morning, then thought, best just check my emails and a bloody Amazon book sold so I've had to run around looking for it, printing the delivery note, finding a jiffy bag.
So now I think sod it, I'll be a bit late, I need a cuppa! No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

More hassle than I needed before 10am but it's a more expensive book so should make all of about £1.50 for my efforts :rotfl:No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Morning everyone. I'm still a bit undecided about the house. We had the mortgage AIP yesterday which is a start. Hmmm oh I dunno, I have a list of reasons why this place isn't the best for us and the only reason I've got for not buying the other house is I'm worried about the state of the housing market. I've got the 'what ifs' going on. We can afford the morgage easily but what if we need to move because of work in a year or two and the markets have dropped and what if there is a major resession and the music industry grinds to a halt. I honestly really don't know what to do. I keep telling myself that I'd carry on saving, all be it half of what I can save here and rather than overpay for the time being we'd leave it in ISAs for an emergency fund.
I guess the debt free lifestyle has become so ingrained I'm finding it really hard to get into debt again, even if it is a mortgage.:A
