I am chasing him hes just useless when it comes to money which is why i control it all!

Hes just told me he sold an xbox game that cost him £40 last weekend for £20 to someone at work! He could have made nearly all of it back if i had put it on eBay!

They minus the £60 out of your tax you pay that month. Your tax is deffo the same as you always pay and not £60 less?...sorry im sure youve looked already but Its strange theyve changed your code but not deducted the tax.

  • My tax code has changed Maria yet no extra money, all the tax and NI is the same as last month, the only extra i have is overtime, which is on my pay slip. Tax is def not lower than last month. Its what i was expecting with the overtime, no extra in the pay to show the £60.

Speaking to payroll next week as i dunno whats happened. weird.

Dawn - thats so like guys isn't it, take the easy option and sell it to a mate, and not look around on ebay etc before selling.
  • Another £0.39 has just been shown on quidco as being received, i guess it all adds up lol. I just want Extrabet to show as received and vernons, then i will be a happy girl.
  • I have just ordered my new GHD's through HQHair. In the end i went for the normal pair which have recently been updated with all the new features, they cost £99.95, but i went thru Quidco so should get £10 back in piggy points. Yay!!!!!

I have Babyliss straighteners which according to the reviews on Amazon by previous GHD owners are as good as them but i am useless at using them, i can never get the back sorted, scared i will burn myself! :o I really must learn how to use them properly!

At least my hair will look decent tomorrow :p

  • I've had so many pairs of straightners, but none of them compared to my old set of GHD's. I do feel guilty spending £100 on hair straightners, but they are something that will last a few years **i hope** so its an investment lol.

Yay! Do the normal ones come with the heat proof case? Its really good no more worrying about letting them cool down before you can leave them, you can just put them in the case and go! :)

  • No, unfortunately thats the only thing they come without is the heat proof case. With my ones tho i do get a South Beach Rocks Happy Days Heat Mat Wrap, which looks pretty. So i'm happy with that.

Plus, just checked my piggy points and they HQ Hair points have been added already, only a few more then i can order 2 £10 vouchers. So really my straightners only cost me £90.
