Right, yesterday i visted my friend in Essex and had a fun time shopping, having a meal out and cinema, and i spent £125
All my bills have been paid for October, also holiday to New York at Christmas has now all been fully paid for, so i'm skint, and i only got paid on Friday
Well i say skint, i have £250 to last me until the end of October. I still want to buy my Ugg boots, they will cost me £139, but i;m not sure if i should wait until i get paid in October as i will have 20hrs overtime coming my way. Decision decisions. I'm going to try and have 2 NSD's a week in October, and try and spend ONLY £10 a week on junk (ie, magazines, lunches, starbucks coffees).
October is going to be my month for making extra money, i have never tried mystery shopping, so going to give that a go and make some extra £££, also might start writing reviews to make money, and going to list lots on ebay and Amazon :j0 -
Right, its the first day of October tomorrow and i'm all set to start my 2 NSD's a week. So far this week i have spent £15 on rubbish, lunches, drinks last night with friends, and £15 is far too much in two days to spend on rubbish. I have now decided i can spend £20 this week on junk, and every week in October only spend £10 per week on junk. That should be do-able if i stick to my 2 NSD's a week.
Quidco is peeing me off a little at the moment. I'm still waiting on Extrabet and Vernons to show as payment received, but still nothing yet, even though payment is due for September. I really hope it doesn;t change to October, i really need that extra money this month as i've only been paid 5 days and i'm already skint.
I have decided to leave buying my Ugg boots until the middle of October. That way i can look at how my spending is going, and if it looks like i'm on track and not wasting too much on junk i will buy them :j
This weekend i hav a whole weekend to myself to do nothing, so i have promised myself i will do some reviews on dooyoo, and try to make some Amazon vouchers ready for Crimbo.
I nearly have enough piggy points to get 2 £10 vouchers for Boots. I will use the vouchers on the special crimbo nights they have. spend £50 and get £10 back in boots points. so if i use the vouchers i'm only spending £30 of my own money and stil get £10 back in points.
My new GHD's arrived today but my mother was out, so have to go collect them from the post office tomorrow. Least they have arrived, super quickly too.
Might go see a film tomorrow, Orange Wednesday of courseand my OH has said he will pay.

I had £100 worth of Boots vouchers last year from Pigsback so got £20 in points for spending nowt but the way Pigsback has gone i am only just going to get 1 voucher before Christmas and thats only because of Racecaller!
I am going to start Dooyoo too this week as want to spend as little on Xmas as possible. Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
I agree Dawn, pigsback has got rubbish. I never get any 5p clicks, i get most of my points because i order a bit from The White Company thru Pigsback and i ordered my new GHD's via pigsback too. That was good last year having all those boots vouchers, brilliant for christmas pressies.
I'm going to work really hard to get as many Amazon vouchers as i can before xmas. My lil bro is really into computer games so going to try and get enough so i can get him a wii game, and maybe an Xbox 360 game.0 -
How do you get the amazon vouchers thepinklady?0
-
Babes21 - you get them from http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/ its a website where you can review anything and then get points, the more points you get the more money you make in Amazon vouchers. I've not started myself yet so can't tell you exactly how it works, but others have said its really good site.

Oh god, money is going down so fast at the moment. I just can't seem to keep track of it. Tomorrow i'm meant to be going out shopping with the girls and having lunch, but i really can't afford to shop and eat out. I've decided to put £30 in my purse for tomorrow, £10 on lunch, and then maybe i can treat myself to a few bits with the remaining £20. I do need some more Trevor Sorbie colour blonde shampoo/conditioner/glosser, and as its stil on 342 at Boots may jsut buy that before offer runs out in a couple of days.
Right, off to work out my money for the month, and decide if i can sign up to Interbingo without making myself skint. I wanted to try and 'save' £100 to buy my Ugg boots at the end of the month, but my parents have said to stop paying them any money until after all my holidays, but they will be Christmas time and they have already said my crimbo gift will be them to clear the debt i owe them, so they are being crafty and trying to help me out without my realising, shame it didn't work LOL.

Oh god, just worked out my money until the end of October  i really shouldn't of paid £800 this month for holiday in December, its left me REALLY skint.
Right the sums:
£139.13 in bank account
£73.11 - on its way from Quidco
£32.00 cheque need to bank - selling old mobile
£43.15 - notes/change in purse
=£287.39
Left to pay this month
-£65.00 - travel
-£20 - Barclaycard payment
leaves £202.39
Tomorrow i'm going out for the day shopping with the girls and having lunch out, but as i've already spent FAR too much this month so far i'm putting £30 in my purse and thats it. That should cover £10 for lunch, and £20 treating myself.
leaves £172.39
I'm then going to try and stick to £10 a week on treats, ie, magazines, lunches, coffees, just general rubbish. IF i stick to that i should have £132.39 left at the end of the month.
Its already the 3rd of October and i've not managed one single NSD yet, i really must try harder. I spent £5 today renting out a boxset from Blockbusters. However, this will keep me busy tomorrow evening with my OH is out and i'm home alone. Hopefully will help me stop wanting to go to London with mates and spend far too much money.
I'm glad money has now been sorted and i know where everything will be going :j :j0 -
