Hayley's Debt Free by Dec 08 Diary

Today I went into work for 7 hours & I'm also working Bank Holiday Monday now :j. All the extra money i earn will be chucked at my Barclaycard debt - i MUST get that cleared soon.
My trip to Paris next Friday is now all sorted and booked - I can't wait!!! Hopefully the weather will be nice so my boyfriend & I can have a great time away.
I haven't got much planned this weekend so that will help with cutting down my spending.
I had an email back from credit expert to say this has now been cancelled, so that will save me £5.99 a month. Actually thinking about it it won't save me anything a month, just signed up to online movie rental - £6.99 for 4 movies a month. I like films & will save me going Blockbusters paying £3.99 per movie!!0 -
Not sure if anybody can help with my Quidco question, I'm pretty new to Quidco and still not really sure how it all works. I have a transaction of £71 showing as received, i checked the payments tab and its showing as 'scheduled' for Mar 2008. Does anybody know when I'm likely to receive this payment from Quidco? I've set my account up so any funds i'm to get are all to go to my bank account.
Many thanks
Hayley

Thank you!! I'm hoping writing everything in my diary will help me become debt free a lot quicker than my debt free date. It will stop me being able to treat myself to new clothes every week - I can't help it, i just love new clothes .0 -
Well if your job keeps you busy during the week, try introducing some No-Spending Days (NSD's). I promised myself not to spend anything whatsoever on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. I do this by making packed lunches for work and sticking to the free coffee/tea/water at work etc.
I don't always stick to them, but gives you a bit of a structure to follow and help you realise how much you actually spend each day!

I would have thought the 1st April now as it's so late into March - I'm the same I have a few payments scheduled for March but no luck yet.0 -

I have had a few trials in the past, and i believe one of them was with lovefilm. I think i had about 4 months of free dvds, so its time for me to now start paying unfortunately. The deal I've got though i think is pretty good, anything is good compared to paying £3.99 per movie at Blockbusters.
Thank you Buzzbox.0 -
