Looking for somewhere to buy "ingredients" for natural skincare

Have you tried Akamuti? Everything on their website is 100% natural with no chemical ingredients.
One thing I like about Akamuti is they list the full ingredients for all of their products which I wish other companies would do. I was surprised that Liz Earle don't do this, they only list the natural ingredients they use, what about the other ingredients?I wanted to try the Liz Earle cleanse & polish but I can't find a list of the ingredients for it.
What a fab website, thank you for posting the link (even though I now need to go get a job to pay for what Im going to be spending there :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
As for the Liz Earle, promise that when Im not so tired and things are not so hectic I will sit and write out the ingredients for the cleanse and polish. I did start checking them out earlier (all kosher so far) but had to go out and now eyes too tired to see straight0 -
hmm, my second post on here today about neals yard - but i do love them! they sell all the bits for making cosmetics, probably not the cheapest. but i just wanted to post re skincare, i like neals yard and weleda products for my increasingly sensitive skin. they smell lovely, use 'natural' ingredients ie plant-derived, often organic, no petrochemical/mineral oils, no parabens (i think), and i think are good value (about £20 for a biggish (100g) pot of moisturiser, most other stuff is cheaper than that) plus the blue pots look really nice on the dressing table!
i can't tolerate things like clarins, lush, etc. but these products are great for me. neal's yard also does more purely 'medicinal' creams for excema, like 'chickweed' cream (about £8 for a tube), which my mum (who has extremely sensitive skin, excema, sun allergy, etc) loves.
lastly my friend who also had very sensitive skin swore by E45 cream which i think she got free (she is on benefits) on prescreption from the doctor!
not sure about all this liz earle stuff, just cos it's on QVC... don't want to judge anyone (and in no position to!) but seems that there are a lot of people on MSE with a cupboard full of QVC-bought liz earle and molton brown products....!"The Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's need, but not every man's greed" - Ghandi0 -

I really do hate to think what you are alluding to here????????
Anyway the connection between Liz Earle and QVC is that QVC was until very recently the only stockest of Liz Earle unless you either had internet connection and could order on line or popped over to the Isle of Wight to buy personally.
That situation is now changing with a shop opening in london and some Peter Jones now stocking it. However for people here in Northern Ireland QVC is still the only place to buy (unless you have internet access)0 -

Firstly I've NEVER bought my Liz Earle off QVC (I've NEVER bought anything off QVC).
I get my Liz Earle direct off her website (I've NEVER bought it off Ebay either).
But I really do fail to see what you mean about you don't want to judge anyone for buying Liz Earle (or Molton Brown) off QVC?
Are you saying that because QVC offer a interest free (I think) payment plan?
Or if its from QVC it must be tat?
What exactly did you mean?
I really am mystified at what you are alluding too?0 -

Oo-er Jeannie, you are naughty, but I like you:D
Yes, I think the "common" word, might be what was alluded to here:rolleyes:
The nice private hospital I had my tonsil op in had a Molton Brown Toiletry pack in the en-suite, I think I should tell them, they sell Molton Brown on QVC:shhh: :shhh: :shhh: :shhh: :shhh: :shhh:

I'm lost, do I need to look for a thread called Allantoin in hair & beauty?0 -
First Proper day off work today (on holiday all week) & everyone was off Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon (well everyone where I work).
I had a facial followed by a pedicure followed by an Indian head massage.
Tomorrow, I have a wash, cut, deep conditioning treatment & a blow dry, followed by a full body massage.
Friday I'm off to the Ideal Home Show.0
