Liz Earle is fine for the guys as well - its not a girly smell its just a scrummy yummy healthy smell.

Im with Mrs E in using the light moisturiser, I find the normal too rich, esp as Im prone to break outs. I dont bother with the toner unless it comes as a freebie, its scrummy but not really needed as the hot cloth does do such a good job with wiping your face clean.

I would advise that as your face has flared up, not to have the cloth scalding hot, and not to rub and drag, more pat and ease if you know what I mean

It was hard to make the choice out of the three - as described normal, dry or oily - I'm not oily... Perhaps if I just use a little..

Not sure I can afford any more at the moment! So tempting...

I've still got some oil of ulay left - that sinks straight in and when I put on make up, it goes dry and scaly looking.

    I'm getting sooo fed up!

I'm hoping Essex Girl comes back with some news on her 'new products'!! :D

Jeannie why don't you ring them & change that dry to normal or oily. Just incase. A moisturiser cant really be too light, but it can easily be too heavy.

Buy the toner in the spritzer, a 200ml bottle will probably last the year:D

And chuck out the oil of olay right now. I wouldnt put that near my face for all the tea in china. Is it not bad enough that you work at a garage and you have diesel floating around aggravating your skin as it is free of charge - that you are going out and paying good money to actually put it on your skin just because it says its a moisturiser

The last moisturiser before I discovered Liz Earle was a ulay moisturiser, the foaming one. Mind you that wasn't cheap, was something like £25:mad:

    Liz is cheaper:D & better:D

I got that free gift at Xmas. I used the body wash & body lotion in the shower this morning. They are OK, but I personally think there are body things out there cheaper & just as nice. Mind you I buy that bio-oil & its £20:mad:   I try & get it when they knock about £3 off in Boots.

MrsE - thanks I will do - if its too light, can I for instance then just put it on thicker if need be!

Suki, you've just made me laugh for the first time in days!! Got nothing else to put on apart from Nivea - which is like lard!

Sounds exactly like me. I gave up wearing makeup for years & years, it wasn't till I discovered MMU that I started again, it was the one thing I could put on without looking peely. But we've been there ;)

    Now listen, ((((Jeannie)))):

Have a little rest, it's all been too frenetic here and you've already lost enough money (remember where we are!!!). A couple of days won't hurt you and could allow you to clear your head.

(I wish I'd take my own advice sometimes!)

Have you tried Akamuti? Everything on their website is 100% natural with no chemical ingredients.

One thing I like about Akamuti is they list the full ingredients for all of their products which I wish other companies would do. I was surprised that Liz Earle don't do this, they only list the natural ingredients they use, what about the other ingredients? I wanted to try the Liz Earle cleanse & polish but I can't find a list of the ingredients for it.
