When they were doing the ink cartridge recycling they knew nothing about that either and I emailed in for some bags and was told they would be sent in 14 days but despite sending a follow up email I never received any.

BTW - They still do the inkjet cartridge recycling too.0 -

I've been using the clubcard vouchers for a few yrs now and never use them for shopping anymore.
We use them for days out with the kids.
We are off to london soon and have a load to use at the IMAX cinema and the London Dungeons.
I am very interested in using them for air miles and Eurostar so thanks for all info posted.0 -

Hello non-newbies.
I bought some clubcard deal vouchers off ebay today, and hope to use them at MFI. I clarified the position with Tesco before doing this, and they informed me that to counter this sort of reprehensible activity, all vouchers issued from today will have the original customer's name on to prevent transfer.
I didn't check whether this just applies to the original vouchers, or the converted deal tokens, or both.
Perhaps someone better-informed can comment.0 -
My neighbour last year bought quite a few clubcard vouchers from other customers at the tills.
She then sent them all off to get Thorpe Park annual passes
Tescos then sent her a letter advising that as the vouchers had other peoples names on then they couldn't be used and to make matters worse Tescos credited the original people back the vouchers to their clubcard accounts.
My neighbour was not happy as you can imagine so she phoned and wrote letters but they would not budge. There is a clause in the terms and conditions that say the vouchers have to be in your own name and other peoples will not be accepted.
My advice do not buy any to use as deals although you may get away with paying for goods at the tills if the assistant doesn't check too closely.0 -

What has been going on at ebay (in some cases) is that the vouchers are auctioned......with the condition that the winner specifies which deals tokens they would like. The seller claims these tokens (which have/had no personal details) and despatched them to the winning bidder. It seems sugested that details are now on the deals tokens - but I'm not sure what that would accomplish for a theme park ticket say.0 -
My mother in law recently died and left a small amount of clubcard vouchers. I phoned Tesco clubcard who told me that I could not use the vouchers, even to redeem at the till or for deals, but if I sent them in with a letter of explanation they would credit them to my account.
I did this and received a charming letter back expressing sympathy for my loss and confirming that the value of the vouchers would be added to my current total and re issued in the next mailing.
