All you do is collect your points vouchers and when you have saved up enough for what you want send an application to Tesco .I did it using a form in the deals magazine but think there is an application online also.
Anyway once they recieved your application and vouchers they will send you a deals voucher to use for what ever you have requested , Be careful though as some deals you have to pay in full vouchers, others you can top up with cash.
  • By points do you mean the money off vouchers?

Erm... the points will come in the post on your clubcard statement. They will have a value to them, such as £2.50 (which is 250 points). These are what you'll need to send off & exchange for deals tokens if that's what you want. Otherwise you use them at tesco for the face value off shopping (but given they are worth 4x in deals, that's not good MSEing).

Does anybody know the current policy with selling these vouchers on ebay? There's really nothing I want using them for any Tesco deals, but I'm quite interested in selling them on ebay then using that money to pay for shopping.

Are Tesco's now stopping this practice by personalising things as hinted at by some people?

i think you may not be able to sell them on ebay anymore looks like tesco are going to have the names printed on both set's of vouchers now.
to stop people selling them on
  • I know that I'm a long way behind everyone else on this subject but I thought that I'd put a quick post on here now that we've all got our pre-Christmas clubcard vouchers.

We've been collecting our vouchers throughout the year and have got a fair few. I was filicking through all of the gumpf that comes in the envelope with the vouchers (you know, the paperwork that none of us bother to read because we're only interested in the vouchers) and I noticed that I could send off my Clubcard vouchers to exchange for vouchers to be used in Goldsmiths the jewellers at a ratio of 4 to 1. I know that we are all aware of the 4 to 1 conversion for deals but this is the first time I have seen it for Goldsmiths (then again I used to just bin everything else in the envelope).

This year Mrs S is going to be getting a lovey set of diamond earings and a watch as part of her Christmas presents, I get to hang on to the money I would have spent and she still gets what she's been after (everyone's a winner). :)

I'm glad someone has resurrected this thread. I've got a really stupid question to ask :(

I really need some new bedroom furniture for the children so I want to save my vouchers for deals for MFI, as MFI frequently have sales on, can the deals vouchers be used in the sale or must I wait until the stuff is full price?
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

    F U Fund currently at £250
  • You can use them in the sale and get some great bargains!!

We used clubcard vouchers to pay in full for our 2 leather sofas (£599 for the pair) and our new metal bedframe and luxury matress (£380 for the set)!!

We're also hoping to move house in the new year so we've saved up all our vouchers (we've still got about £2000 woth) and we'll be kitting out our new house in the January sale!!! :)
  • p.s. You can also use the vouchers to pay for delivery and for insurance.

And if you're really cheeky, you can barter with the sales staff (as in "If I buy the insurance how much can you knock off the price of the bed/wardrobe?" etc..). We talked the salesguy into knocking the price of the insurance off the price of the bed so we basically got 3 years insurance for free. If you're REALLY cheeky you could always cancel the insurance within the cooling off period and just get a discount on whatever you buy, but I'm not sure how that'd work with clubcard vouchers!!

    Hope this helps!! :)

Another Mfi into clubcard deals question. How long does it take to swap your vouchers for deals roughly and how long do the deals last for. I am saving up for a wardrobe and dont want to get the deals if they run out before i have reached my target.
    Thanks.
