Never Spend Tesco Clubcard Vouchers In-store!!!

As has been noted before, Nectar points are more valuable if you don't use them for shopping, as far as I can make out they're no better for ebookers either but using them at Blockbuster is a good option since 500 points is worth one rental (up to £3.75 rather than the £2.50 off shopping or flights). This can be made even better however, according to the Nectar website, by ordering a Blockbuster Voucher booklet with 10 vouchers for 4200 points. I reckon that means another 16% saving - or something like that...
This is my first post so go easy on me if it's been said before or I've got my figures a bit wrong!0 -

No use to me but IIRC Adams childrenswear offered a good deal too. I think the meal options were not that great either. I have airmiles too.....if only I could combine all these "loyalty" points into one.

I always use my Nectar Vouchers at Adams as you get £5 for every 500 point voucher.

"Two year's ago we went to DLP for Bonfire Night, courtesy of Tesco Clubcard Vouchers. If I remember correctly, the cost of the holiday was just over £500 and I think it cost us £6. I have already paid for Avis car hire in the South of France for this summer which came to £336 and cost me £6. Last week I booked DLP for New Year's Eve (£1,056 for 4 people at the Sequoia Lodge - stupid money, I think), and £1,050 deals tokens turned up today, which will be winging their way to Cresta tomorrow, Special Delivery."
What does DLP mean - not digital light processing, I take it? What are the mechanics of this?
Sorry to be a dumb newbie.
Thanks.
Gerome.
DLP = DisneyLand Paris (ie EuroDisney).
I think the £6s mentioned relate to real money spent, on top of the vouchers converted into deals and used.
Very basically the idea is to spend at tesco to accrue points. normally 1 point = 1 pence, but when used for deals they are worth 4 pence, £2.50 of clubcard vouchers will get you £10 off a holiday.
The good part is the various extra point offers that come up. At the moment you can spend £1.98 on 3 beef in gravy and get £1.51 in clubcard points, which is worth £6.04 in deals (ie towards a holiday etc.)
I recently spent about £750 on this beef to get aout £600 in points, which in turn is worth £2,400 towards a holiday.0 -

Read Martin's post and thought that Tesco didn't offer anything that I would want in deals but decided to look what was on offer ...and how wrong I was!
So the car parking at the airport next month is going to be covered in £6 worth of vouchers instead of £26 (so that's an extra £20 to the debt fund!!!)
What I wanted to know was has anyone renewed their RAC membership using Tesco vouchers. The RAC have confirmed that it can be done but I'm not sure how.
Would appreciate any advice ....£100+ straight after Christmas is always painful!!2014 Target;
