    Afternoon everyone.

my first day off work is quite wet, windy and miserable. I am trying to take it a bit easy, and haven't written myself a list yet of what to do next, although i am taking full advantage of DH being off work.

    So far today, he has:
    • tidied up downstairs as my friend is visiting
    • washed up
    • wiped kitchen sides
    • put out all compost and recycling
    • helped me do food shop
    • helped me put it away
    • cleaned loo
    • and is now doing some prep stuff for the DIY - he's put a dimmer switch on the downstairs light, and doing god knows what upstairs.
    i have:
    • changed DS's cot bedding
    • washed that along with bedding used by ILs last weekend
    • cooked lunch for DS and tidied up after him.
plan for the rest of the day is to have a few hours with my friend and her DH, then perhaps DH will do some more DIY and i will cook dinner.

I won't do a lot else as my head is still killing from yesterday. It hurts when i turn my head, and i'm sure is linked to sinuses.I also feel absolutely huge today. I was really waddling in the supermarket, and DH suggested i wait for him and DS in the cafe.

hugs to ANws mum and nicki hope the pair of you are finding today a bit easier.

    Michelle, x

Well, hip-hip-hooray, DS1 is feeling MUCH better today! Funny that's its now a school holiday... DS2 still has a barking cough but other than looking a bit tired he seems fine today too.

So far we have done not too bad

    Hoovered downstairs (DS1 did this)
Dusted Living room (DS2 did this with the new dust puppy)
    Stripped kids beds
TD emptied, flolded and put away
WM on and on and on again
    TD loaded again
Cupboard in hall/under the stairs tidied out and easter egss stashed
Tesco delivery packed away, bonus cheesecake in fridge defrosting :T
    Kitchen worktops wiped down
Dirty washing dragged downfrom everywhere it doesn't belong
Lunch served up and mostly eaten

My fence collapsed last night where [STRIKE]my neighbour[/STRIKE] someone hit it with a van, now I have to stand at the door when the dog is out

My DSlite arrived and now works - yippee! DS1 parted with a grand total of £34.27 form his saving tub to pay the £55 repair fee as he broke it on purpose. Lesson learned I should hope.

ds son has decided he can't ride a bike (he can), he doesn't like riding his bike (he does - usually) and that he hates everyone. don't colds make us all nice people. think i'm going to rant and rave and tell everyone they're mean.

tia - has he admitted to breaking the fence?

    xx

No, but funny thing is, when I noticed last night the fence and gate were held together with bits of an old hoover they had sitting in their garden. Then he reversed his car against the fence to stop it all falling down.

The stab has completely snapped in the wind. It was only just holding on. It's right in the corner too so a pain! Oh and the council went and tarmaced over the post too so how we are going to manage to dig it up I have no idea!

Just annoys me as we had just started to sort the garden out! It's all getting slabbed and we are getting a hut and such. Now the fence is !!!!!!ed too.

    :coffee: anyone?

doesn't it drive you mad. the people behind us managed to demolish two fences in the last lot of wind when their trampoline went flying. they tried to get their trampoline out of my neighbours garden and not say anything but luckily someone had taken a photo so they owned up pretty quick then. hope you get it sorted soon xx

Got all my washing dry outside and it's all folded and put away.

I've just made a big pot of tomato and vegetable soup for tomorrow. I think it tastes better when it's sat for a day! That's the last of the tomato juice that I accidentally ordered at Christmas time. None of us like drinking it but it makes a super base for a soup. Should that be souper base......

My DD1 bought me the Duffy CD. She knew I wanted it but couldn't afford it. Isn't that nice?
