Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Morning All

Haven't been on for a couple of days as I've been out for the last couple of nights. I don't know how you do it pigpen! Wednesday night I went to the theatre which didn't finish until 11 so it was midnight when I got to bed then up again at 5.30. Last night, I went for a meal then the pub, got in at 1am, then up again at 6 and DS woke me up at 4.30 as well! So I'm shattered this morning but I need to get some jobs done!

I've just spent an hour catching up with thread and now can't remember a thing I needed to say to people so will just post bits throughout the day as i remember.

Congratulations on all those who've lost weight - keep it up!

Nicki - sorry you're feeling a bit down - hope you're feeling better today. When does DD come back? Could possibly meet up next week with the kids if you wanted to. Pm me and let me know - no pressure either way!

    Catch you all later

    Morning All.

jjef- I take it that it is not a bank holiday in Scotland today?

Hope the weather isn't too bad for you today I know that it is meant to be horrible, although down here in the South I work up to beautiful blue skys-they have gone know :(
Not sure what is open and what is closed.
We have gas men renewing pipes in my area. I didn't want to meet a friend for lunch so told her men were coming to my house today. :naughty:
Looked out of window (at rain and sleet) and realised they are on holiday today :o
OK I'm off the hook - now have a large digger outside my house (they are working) so would probably have problem getting car out anyway.

Morning everyone! Beautifully sunny here, but also very windy. Good drying weather, only I don't currently have a washing line...long story. The bottom of the whirly line rusted and broke about three years ago. OH bought another, but it doesn't fit into the base we have. The new base isn't a concrete-in one, but a spike, and we have clay soil with flints, so can't just hammer it in. At this point OH lost interest.

I couldn't get online on Wednesday, so had a massive catchup read last night, then was too tired to remember all the things I wanted to say to everyone.

JillD - well done on the weight loss! I wouldn't beat yourself up too much about the days you don't feel like doing anything - but it might be worth noting when they happen and seeing if there is a pattern. If it's PMT - and it got worse for me after each child - then there are things you can do to help. I just cancelled all the extra things that week, and tried hard to eat healthily but regularly. I have read that having some carbohydrate at regular intervals helps.

DD and I spent ages last night trying to sort out where to go for a mini break, and we think we've sorted out cheap flights and hotel for Santander. I've never been there. Very extravagant, but it's been a rotten past six months, so I think I will benefit from a mini break! Even if I'm sharing it with four 16 year old girls.:rotfl:

I have just about managed to keep up with the flying this week - bits of it were rather feeble fluttering though. You know in the wildlife films where they show some large and ungainly bird taking huge strides ,and flapping its wings like mad, managing to just get off the ground, then landing again without getting very far. Bit like that.

Catching up with some bits over the Easter weekend, and I really hope that the weather is going to be okay, as I want to do some gardening. Think I'll have an early coffee - I need to wake up! Anyone want one? Maybe a hot cross bun with it?? (Please imagine a row of coffee mugs here - the smilies aren't co-operating this morning!)

    Morning everyone

Thanks for all the hugs, a friend turned up unexpectedly yesterday afternoon so we had a good chat. House was in CHAOS everywhere and I mean everywhere! But as we all know genuine friends will take us as they find us.

Today we are birthday pressie and egg delivering at SIL's and a friend of A's so not a lot will get done. SIL has had a springer pup (well he is a year old) for her b'day. Not sure what W will think. Our springer when I was at home was lovely but loopy! If this is the same (which I suspect he is) then we might have to cut short the visit.

It is extremely windy outside but clear blue skies here.

Fantastic news for all of you on the weight loss trail, well done :)

Oh and just for a laugh, confession time...... as we were putting the eggs on the dining room table that the kids have amassed so far I found one from last year  :rotfl: The dining room has not been used for purpose since before DH died and has become my ebay stock room, spare toy room, general dumping ground :o:o it is going to have to be sorted as I need to do a year end stock check soon.

Right have a good day everyone, catch you all later xx

Morning Serena. We have run out of milk so have had to have black coffee

Managed to have a little tidy up of the kiddies room but then they got a little to quiet so though I better check on them.

Trying to sort of house insurance too. Wish you could compare them all-see which one actually offers the most for the money. I don't necessarily want the cheapest one just the one that will cover all my needs.

DD isn't back until tomorrow night, but I'm off to my sisters to do some DIY today so it shouldn't be too bad. Speaking to ex last night made me bad again :o Cried myself to sleep, espcially after he said there will never be an "us" again, just friends :o:o Just kind of hard as we started off as friends and got on really well and were really close then when we moved in together we kind of drifted apart so going back to being friends brings back all the memories of the hours we used to spend talking on the phone, chatting on MSN, writing letters and all the rest of it. Also doesn't help that yesterday I was sorting out stuff and found a book he bought me called "when love is forever" and one of those wall plaque things "Love I love you..." and my engagement ring :o:o I just want him to come home :(

*pulls self together best she can* Well I've been awake on and off all night again, but this time it was due to the wind  Been up since 7.50 when the sun decided to shine brightly through my blinds right into my eyes so I've bathed, had breakfast and I'm dressed in my decorating gear ready to go to my sisters. Just waiting for her to get up. Don't know what else to do now as there's no dishes to wash, bed is turned back airing for the day, and I'm bored having checked all my internet based things. Suppose I could go down to Asda and get some shopping but it's blowing a gale and I don't think I would make it there in one piece :rotfl::rotfl: Hmm...I know I'll change some music on my MP3 player to listen to later.

    :(

It is a bank holiday just not all schools choose to take easter off, they break up next Thurs for 3 weeks. And yes the weather forecast is horrible for here today, it has sstarted off so nice - clear skies sun out but now its very grey and windy with the odd snow/sleet shower forecast:eek:
