If there is to be any peace, it will come through being, not having - Henry MillerM.A.C.A.W Member . . Wannabe Flybaby0 -
Nothing quite like getting up at 6am (after being woken up 4 times in the night) and being greeted by a small boy proudly holding a dead mouse. I got him to put it back in the cupboard until DH gets up but now have a problem going in the kitchen.
Today I need to do a house wide emergency clean, 15 minutes per room till I run out of enthusiasm. Bin and recycling is out, but I need to tidy the garden as the wind blew cardboard everywhere last night.
Have to bake a birthday cake for DSS1 who is 16 tomorrow, and he has requested that I make choc hob nobs, cappuchino cake and a white chocolate cheesecake for his friends who are staying tomorrow night. I on the other hand get to eat grapes for desert. Yum. I do not like fruit, and I am not keen on veg either. I may therefore make one of my mothers famous no fat, no sugar, just a miniscule amount of honey, fruit cakes, but it just isn't the same without a great slab of cheese or butter on.
Jill - well done on the 4lbs, thats great especially as you were on about not going as you thought you had messed it up. Shows it is worth sticking to it.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Well done Jill! As for the water, have you tried it with a slice of lemon? What I do is just pop a slice in a tumbler and fill the tumber up with lukewarm water from the kettle and then slowly sip it like a cup of tea. It tastes much nicer that way.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Morning all
Its blue skies here at the moment and so much for an early start on stuff, I'm still slobbed out in dressing gown and havent had breakfast yet. What I have done is put the dishwasher on and started making my gluten free hot cross buns. Just waiting for the yeast to work, but it looks as if it may be past it, so I better go and get some dried and see which one froths first.
Well done on your list Denise, wish I had your energy, and Dusty I wouldnt want to be tackling yours, it looks like one of Michelles :rotfl: and well done to Jill on sticking to the diet. Hugs to everyone else for a good day.
See ya later
PS Yes I'll have a cuppa thanks VanillaMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0
