I am soooo tired, but I've had 2 cups of coffee and am wide awake at the same time  I don't understand my body at all sometimes :rotfl::rotfl:

Well the ladders have now gone, the fella called for them while I was on the phone to DD so I said to her "I'll call you back in a sec, there's someone at the door". Gave the fella the ladders, phoned DD back and she'd gone for her bath  So spent some time chatting to ex and then put the TV on, but I just can't get my head around watching anything.

Tomorrow the plan is for me to go around to Johannes and do some work on her nursery for her as her baby is due April 14th :D I might as well as it will be company for me, keep my mind off DD being away, and get some much needed jobs done for her ;) So not much in the way of flying for me, apart from washing dishes and putting myself to bed but decorating instead :rotfl:

LOL.. soappie.. glad it isn't just me.. I was trying to count out his change.. (£2.20) I couldn't even recognise the coins!!...

I said 'now I can't count' and started laughing.. I said 'It's stopped raining now! And you know exactly where my mind is right now..'
He started laughing and said 'hey, I'm a bricky'
By this point I was helpless.. 'well, maybe I should do the girly thing and just blush!?'
He said '.. & I'm saying nothing about the state of your mind'
My reply 'Well, I know the state of my mind and I am QUITE happy with it!!'
Flicked him a wink and skipped giggling up the path..

Oh I am SO looking forward to going there again in a fortnight.. I might skip their house and just do next door!! lol

Though a simple :o blush may have been a tad more dignified?

    Hello to shelley's DD :D

nicki, I'm jealous, I love preparing nurseries, hope it goes well.

pigpen, sorry I'd have wet myself laughing if someone came to the door and said that :rotfl:

Denise, I help with the running of a local one, PM me if I can help.

Oh all this talk of spookies, relatives who'd passed away etc reminded me of something. My DS1s parents evening, he'd been asked to write down things he likes, he wrote 'To see pictures of my Great Grandad' he was asked to put what he doesn't like 'People going on holiday' well I cried. He passed away when he was on holiday and never came home, so it upset me a little. It also made me jib DP about photos, DS needs those visual things I think and we haven't put them up. We only have 2 photos on display here, one of DS1 which is just plopped on a wall as it was safer to put it there and one of Matthew. That's quite shocking isn't it? Maybe it's just because so far the house doesn't feel like 'home' in a way, because we're renting privately even though she said 'stay as long as you like' I feel a little insecure I think...still look at rental vacancies at least once a week etc. Silly in a way, sensible in another.

Right, most of what I needed to do has been done. DP is on his way home because he's taken ill at work, he was ill before he went, did try and say to stay in but he wouldn't. We've both been hot/cold all day aswell as the sore throats, bad headaches etc, but he is like DS and is sick when he gets hot etc.

**Quick edit as don't want to reply to myself**

Off to bed, well look after DP and bed, he's done nothing but run back and forwards to the loo since he came in, really hope the boys don't get whatever he has or this is going to be one very long long weekend....Right, sorting woofers out then I'm off, good night everyone, see you all at some point tomorrow x
One day I might be more organised...........

have you ever tried to get the zest off an orange with one hand? xx

:o I am dangerous enough using both of mine - if DH sees me grating/zesting anything he is normally over like I shot (I am quite prone to zesting/grating my fingers and thumbs :rotfl: ) It was worth it though?! Hope you are feeling a bit better and the pain is easing (hugs)

I am not long back in - I had a really [STRIKE]stupid[/STRIKE] clever idea to go rebook the kids swimming lessons after school so took them down and sorted it all out. Then I thought if I headed back the way I came the traffic was a nightmare so to avoid it I would go a different way... past Tesco's and all I could think about was bangers and mash :rotfl: So pulled in - by the time I got to the checkout I remembered why I use .com, 3 very tired and vocal cherubs do not mix with shopping.

Arrived home fed everyone, all lobbed into bed and then back out. There are some quite good deals on lego at Argos just now and ds has already suggested what he would like for his birthday - so it is hiding in the back of my wardrobe... Although this was supposed to be my cover for mooching around the shopping centre for ideas for DH's birthday - but they have changed the opening times and all the shops were shutting just after I collected the lego

:T to everyone who has lost weight.

and hugs to all those who are playing nurse or are in need of one!

vanilla - re your lo I would second everything else others have mentioned. Have you changed washing powder or fabric conditioner recently (this used to make ds worse) and he didn't get on very well with oilatum but E45 junior agreed with him. Just a couple of thoughts.

:j I have a haircut booked for tomorrow (only a few months overdue :rotfl: )

    ok night night all x
