would someone please give me a talking to. I dont know where my motivation for anything has gone. Can't be bothered with anything - housework, flying, daily stuff, shopping, cooking, even going to the gym which was my thing. I had a couple of really good weeks before where it all went swimmingly, now I am just so lethargic and eating rubbish to boot (hmm, maybe there's the connection ........).
I thought if I tried to get others involved in the weight loss it would help me and I really have eaten rubbish this week.
There's lots more I could go on about but I don't want to do a mage rant again.

What the h*ll is wrong with me ? Why can't I just pick myself and get stuff done ???

Not sure if it is just worse today like a sort of backlash of having a fab kid and chore free day yesterday and back to earth with a bump today
    aaaaaaaargggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh

    I think I need to:
    - make another meal plan for lunches as well as tea from my WW kickstart pack
    - do a shopping for it
    - try and pencil some exercise time into diary and get DH to agree to me skipping kids bath once or twice a week til the most of the weight comes off.
    - oh and definitely need to buy a decent exercise top as mine are all carp
    - and take in the sports bra I have, its wrong size but nearest I could get, lady in John Lewis said they dont make them big enough

Anyone else got any other ideas to wise me up?

    lil-me - terrifically well done!

tia - definitely apply for the course!

tracy - go for the interview anyway - it's all good experience. And keep your eyes open - opportunities appear.

No flying yet - will whisk over the living room after dinner. Need to go cook now, children gnawing the furniture...

JillD, big hugs. Sorry you're feeling down. You're probably right about the connection with eating rubbish and feeling rubbish.

Have you done a food diary? If you write down everything you eat - or even post it up here - in a day it might make you think twice before going for that biscuit instead of that piece of fruit...

But I'm hopeless at advice about this sort of thing.

I'll just send you more big hugs...

JillD, is AF due? I get like that, no motivation, you eat carp, big circle. Easy to break once you realise that's all it is.

Lil_me, he has an antibiotic and managed to munch half a digestive, just falling asleep on the sofa right now. It's murder not being able to give him ibuprofen as it's the only thing that really helps. Hopefully he will eat some dinner and it will stay down. I will be waking him up during the night to give him meds too so he is not waking at 5am in agony again. This morning because he missed his 9am dose he ended up falling in the bathroom and couldn't move because he was so dizzy! He is so crabby though it's driving me nuts! Then OH (no D today) sits and plays xbox360 online and yells at everyone because he is getting killed, he is such a Penis when he plays it!

Well, I have managed to do get OH to do the dishes. I poo-pick the back garden, got dinner on (sausage stew and roast sweet potatoes) and half clean out the fridge. I cleaned the veg drawer there was cucumber smoosh over everything, order slabs for back garden (finally) uhm... that's it, unless you include, take DS1 to GP, collect prescription, take DS2 to nursery, collect DS2 from nursery, grab a sim card from my Dad, let kids meet Misha the newest husky, set up DS1's mobile phone... did I not say he wasn't getting one???

(((Hugs for Summermoon))) Thinking of you and your family.

Chasing Butter Flys, I'm going to call both Ayr and Kilmarnock college as where I am both are about the same distance away really.

soappie - possibly putting 'top up' oil in when the cars still warm? common mistake so just pressuming of course. Only top up if it's very close to the minimum, wipe the dipstick then put back without touching the sides if possible, make sure it is cold and is on flat ground.

Ah me, there's the problem probably - either that or I've been reading the dipstick wrong. I usually buy oil at the garage on my way to work and pop it in then. By the time I do that, the engine's done around 20 miles and is nice and warm. Just spoken to the garage and he says it's still smoking a little and he needs some parts for the service so it won't be ready until tomorrow. Good news is it should come in at around £200 only including the main service. Having checked the dealer's prices for a main service, it would have cost me nearly £300

So, my little faux pas/dumb blonde moment in putting in too much oil has, in the end, actually saved me money :D because I didn't know this little garage around the corner that the AA man recommended even existed!

Have phoned work and said I won't be able to get there tomorrow and, as I was only going to do a half day on Thursday anyway, I might as well take the whole day off.

They're just looking to see if there's some work I can do at home tomorrow and will get back to me. Either way, I'm at home for the rest of the week :D

hi soappie - thanks (hug). I suppose I do feel down but I was thinking of it more as a lethargy and apathy type of thing. even I am fed up of going on about being down !!!
Re the writing down thing - I'm supposed to write it down for WW, I even have a tracker (weekly food diary) stuck up on my food cupboard door but when I eat the rubbish I just dont bother writing that day in, its such a farce. Perhaps I should write it up here at the end of the day and try to shame myself into doing it properly, I wouldn't write down a lie about what I ate - thats why I just dont write it down at all when I eat rubbish. So if I didnt post it at the end of the day you'd all know it was because I had eaten naughty things.

I also realise I am really tired. Just got LO up from her sleep - other 2 playing at Carrie and David's Popshop in the play room. they both want to be Carrie which is worrying  (as one is a boy LOL). So anyway I got LO up and lay on my bed for a while cooing at her (she is SO gorgeous :D - must post pics soon) - and realised I am physically shattered after yesterday's break. Need an early night badly. Shopped all day yesterday, got back from London at gone 11, didnt get to bed til almost 1, fed LO at 2, got up to give her summy at 5, got up for the day at 7. Not a lot of time for sleep in there!

Phew another long rambly one sorry
    Jillx

ps I never did post that yesterday morning I did my Davina DVD for my HHE :j
So in short (why do I always ramble) I will
    - keep a food diary and post it here each night
    - going to face the shame of WW on Thursday night but just ask for a new card and start from scratch as it were rather than register another gain
    - going to sign up to their monthly thing to make myself go and take advantage of the online gubbins
    - going to START GOING TO BED EARLIER and more to the point GOING TO SLEEP EARLIER
    - going to meal plan for breakfast, lunch and dinner tonight
    - going to do a food shopping tomorrow

This is such a great place for thinking out loud :)
