skintscotslass -- try ebay for the maas stuff first, I'm sure I have had it cheaper off there.

soappie - possibly putting 'top up' oil in when the cars still warm? common mistake so just pressuming of course. Only top up if it's very close to the minimum, wipe the dipstick then put back without touching the sides if possible, make sure it is cold and is on flat ground.

tia hope your DS is better soon, I remember how much my ear infection hurt so he has my every sympathy x

Didn't get to sleep, sat working bills out instead, silly I know but can't rest with things on my mind. Feeling rather rotten still, will try and get out of tonight but think there will be uproar if I don't go.
One day I might be more organised...........

Thanks Jill - also the couch to 5k someone else suggested. I did do a short run/walk last night so a bit sore today. Trying to lose a stone by your birthday.

Busy day at work, and now the boys are busy killing one another. Time for an 'ignore them' HHC I think.

Summermoon, hope you are all ok.
