What is SAP? How does it works? I have been seeing this acronym several times but I don't know the meaning.
It's a method of managing or integrating different software solutions, normally associated with databases in industry.

    Surely that's an abbreviation. ;)

An acronym typically takes the first letter of each word which gives rise to another word., e.g. WHO - World Health Organisation.

Probably more a contraction than abbreviation. ;)

Agreed, it did occur to me as I posted, but it was my bed time and couldn't be bothered to correct it. ;)

As you are new to computers and your laptop is only 2 months old I would advise you to contact the shop where you bought it and get them to fix the problem.

I would not advise you to enter the BIOS as another post has suggested.

I would try system restore using your dell windows cd

Pop in the cd, restart the laptop and press F12 And choose to boot from cd

Press any key when prompted to boot from the cd

Click next and then choose the option to repair your pc.

You should hopefully see system recovery options, choose this and then try system restore. If this fails try repair your computer option following the steps above.

    hope this helps
