Obviously with your post count of 13858, all of which are no doubt important and correct, I defer to your vastly superior knowledge. I was in doubt as to whether the original post was spam, hence my post. But do not worry I shall not bother in future.

I'm guessing Norton came with the laptop as stock and now it's annoying you? I'd uninstall it via Control Panel, Add or Remove programs and then install AVG Free.

It's a virus protection software that is free and has minimal annoying features that Norton has. :)

Is this to burn onto a cd to listen to in the car or whatever? If so then you can do that in itunes, if you google "burn a cd with itunes" there's a good set of instructions in the top result (I can't post links yet)

Bear in mind that if these are paid for songs downloaded from itunes there is a limit on how many times you can burn to CD, I think it's 4. To use windows media player you can probably just go into the folder and open it in WMP (right click on file>open with>windows media player). Your music is probably in Documents>Music or My Documents>My Music.

I'm fairly certain that windows media player also has restrictions on downloaded songs so you might run into the same problem.

You can always burn them to a virtual cd image then rip them as often as you like if you want to do it more than 4 times for your own use.

You could do this but I don't think that's an available option inside iTunes or WMP. You'd need 3rd party software like imgburn or alcohol.
