    Evening all.

Being naughty and having a take away tonight - yes I know, I could have made my own if I'd been organised.

Its been a day for not getting much done, no matter how hard I try, so have just given up.

Trying to decide whether I can justify spending £156 on a couple of days in Oxford next week - including train fares of £76. Fancy getting away for a few days but it seems quite steep.

Hope you have all had good days, and more hugs to Smokey,

zarazara the last part of Lark Rise is not on tonight - it's being shown next Sunday, 23rd. I was all set to watch it too but couldn't find it on my tv guide so I checked the BBC website and it is on next week. I can't wait to see what Dorca has planned. I don't think it will include Sir Timothy though.

benthosboy I don't think anyone here would have accused you of being trite at all. What a lovely post though with the song lyrics. Very thoughtful. I hope that expressing yourself has helped you in some way - it can be quite cathartic can't it.

Spent a while on the DFW and MFW boards. Think I may do it more often as I'm feeling quite inspired now and have had a good look at my finances and know to the penny exactly where I stand today. :j Have put a few thoughts down and hope to get some of them actioned this week. One of these includes making time to sit down and talk to my boss. He has been telling me since last September that we need to sit down and talk about my job (I'm not worrying at all - if anything, my hours will increase). We are soooo busy at w**k at the moment but if I don't make an appointment then I will be in the same position this time next year.

Off to watch Harrison Ford as Indy!   Take care all. xx

Thank you, I'm not doing too badly at the moment. And to make things better, I'm just about to tuck into the most delicious chicken soup I have ever tasted. It's HM of course, my first attempt, and as a result, I've fallen head over heels in love with, err, my sc :o It's paid for itself on the strength of this alone :j

    Evening all

HUGS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY SMOKEY.

Hugs to anyone else who needs one.

    WELCOME new posters.

Had a great time at the circus, now feeling very full up after roast beef and yorkshire pud, rhubarb crumble and custard

DG am quite up for the idea of knitting a square, am just not the best knitter in the world, although I really enjoy it. Spoke to Mum today, she has started knitting again too for prem babies. She has invited me to the WI in the village. Would really like to go, OH's reaction was to say you're not 50 yet. I don't think age has got anything to do with it, I see it as a way of preserving what we know and do.

Enough rambling, am off to knit.

    Night all, sweet dreams.
