Thanks Jellybeans! I've added yours to my last update!

I have also just finished a crochet smoothie hat so I hope they accept crochet ones, too! It only took about ten minutes - I copied another pattern and just did fewer stitches.

I have sent off 2 hats for Save the Children.
Innocent Smoothies will accept any sort of hat as long as it fits their 250ml bottles - knitted, crochet, fantasy figures, anything!
It started as knitted bobble hats because that is so often what OAPs are pictured wearing, and funds raised are for Help The Aged.

Thanks, Seakay, for the advice about the Smoothie hats. I'll post a pic of the one I have crocheted later (now that I've mastered how to upload photos onto Yahoo!) It was so quick to do and took so little wool. It has turned out the same size as the first Smoothie hat I knitted from the 'official' instructions. I shall experiment with different patterns from now on, but have just started another preemie hat.

I was hoping I'd finish another one tonight but we've been invited out to friends for a drink so I won't be knitting!

Seakay - I don't think you're on the list of updated running totals. I shall have a look and update the last post I updated.

What a great idea Mioliere, I love the thought of so many people who have never met getting together for a single project to help other people we will never meet. It restores your faith in human nature. Thank you everyone.

Now look here people, it took a mere handful of words from my dear wife  to reduce me to a complete wreck. It then took numerous visits to the doctor and, err, lots of tablets :o to get me back to something like normal.

Many more posts like pol's and I can see me being red-eyed again :o:D:D
