Hi Shezmit - I see that you are requesting blankets - I asked a few weeks ago about the squares - are they still needed as since i last went on there seem to have been loads of developments - im not experienced enough for patterns although would dearly love to help - I took down an address for the squares from one of the original postings - any help gratefully accepted many thanks f1 xx PS This sentence is in a total whisper because all of you experienced knitters will laugh - the squares i have done in the past have been for animal charity and they are just "plain knitting" no pearl - am i right in saying that this is how the blankets and squares should be or should they be in patterns etc - sorry i do sound like a complete la la dont I !!!!! ....................... my knitting is much better now (no dropped stitches ......) just cant get past the first hurdle and still on Junior Knitting ha ha
PPS Also as they are for hospitals and babies what wool would you recommend .....

F1Widow - I'm sure your squares are lovely and we knitters, experienced or otherwise will not laugh. We all had to start somewhere and when I think of my first attempts at knitting, when my tension was so tight and I collected unintended stitches, I shudder. Your squares will be most welcome by Shezmit at Preemies UK and will go to a great cause.

Shez - I have welcomed you on the Yahoo group! Glad you are now a member. I shall be updating shortly so will add your name and numbers to the list.

Here is the latest update and thanks to all of you!

The first figures are for the STC (Save the Children) hats and the second is for the (IS) Innocent Smoothie hats which we can do in readiness for the go ahead of Sainsbury's next campaign.

Hi all - I've just updated! Could I ask you all to check every now and again that I have got the numbers down correctly, please? I have been known to mess it up in the past!

hi all, wonder if any one knows any sites that i can print off patterns for a teddy or doll, with clothes that also fir it, the bigger the selection of clothes the better. sons like the bears from the bear factory where you can purchase lots of clothes and accessories, and as they already owned a couple, i thought i would have a go at making something similar but cheaper
    thanks
