Made a really determined effort this morning and completed my first knitted angel pocket. Now I have managed 1 I will carry on as I think it must be lovely for the parents to have at such a sad time

Hi everyone. Chalky - thanks for the update - the angel pockets are lovely and will bring great comfort. I shall add them to the count for burial buntings, if you don't mind, because we are only allowed four lines for our sigs now and I have already had to bunch the words up to fit all our achievements in mine because we are doing so well. I might ask if I can be allowed a longer sig - I wonder if the powers that be would agree to that because the knitting is all for charity and not for personal gain.? No harm in asking, is there?

Shez - I'm just doing a few more IS hats then I shall start on the bibs!

The first figures are for the STC (Save the Children) hats and the second is for the (IS) Innocent Smoothie hats which we can do in readiness for the go ahead of Sainsbury's next campaign.

Glad you liked my little friend, I am quite proud of him;)
He did'nt start out like that he was a flower boob, but I had a :idea: so I reworked him.

I watched a film last night so I did quite well knitting wise....can you update me with 2 STC Hats and 1 Teddy please:D

I must have a go at the bibs next, I have lots of odds and ends of wool in all sorts of colours.

Hi Pippa - I thought I'd posted just now and when I came back it had gone?

I've pm'd Penelope Penguin, as the first-named OS board guide, for her advice re my sig so hopefully I'll be allowed to have another line (or two, the way we are all knitting!).

I still haven't 'pimped' my boob yet - I must do it this evening. I did a couple more IS hats this afternoon (while watching the programme I'd recorded last night about Jackie magazine in the 1960s - made me feel like I was sixteen again and I'm 56 tomorrow! Help - where did all those years go?)

It hasn't stopped raining today - perfect weather for knitting, isn't it?

I've already updated today and I forgot my IS hats when I did it, so I'll add those and your hats and Ted tomorrow! Dinner's nearly ready so I'll have to dish up! This housework lark really interferes, doesn't it?
