Morning all
I'm still not better from this bug, but am getting there. My Mother told me to go to bed, but I have jobs to do! Especially since the water is not heating up in the hot water boiler.... it was fine yesterday morning, but when OH put it on last night there was nothing but cold water. So who knows what is wrong there.
Sainsbugs is coming soon so am going to have a cold wash and get ready for the day as am still in my pjs, haha.
Hugs to those who need/want.

Morning all
Big hugs to Smokey, thanks for the update.
Happy B'day Tru.
Was up at 2 to watch GP qualifying, well done Lewis.
Katy was so depressed last night as she got a serious b***king for locking the kids in & she know's she'll get another one on Monday when the head's back, she was up at 4 on the phone to her friends. Her friends arrived here at 8, I was still in bed & asleep after watching the GP. We now have the three of them all singing & shouting at the tops of their voices.
I'm meant to be going out today on a 'girls' day out, me both my DD's & my DGD, but it looks like I'll have to cancel, I'm too worried about whether or not I'll have a house to come back to!
Hubby is out this afternoon watching Rugby in a local pub with some friends, he's offered to stay home in place of me, but he's too soft. Whereas I've already yelled at them 2 or 3 times. 3 large 30 year olds dancing, screaming & bouncing on & off the bed is too much. ROLL ON JULY, though Katy may find herself sacked on Monday, lol.
Hope everyone has a good day.
Hugs Hester

Morning everyone  - Just
i`ve been up since 7 this morning, not bad considering i got to bed around 2am again.
I`ve only had chance to quickly skim the thread again but hopefully i`ll get the chance to catch up properly later.
I seem to have spent the last 2 days running around like a mad woman trying to fit everything into my day and still not managing to juggle w**k and the chores etc.
I`m looking forward to tomorrow though as i`ve got 2 days off and although one will be spent running errands for others hopefully i can find some seriously needed me-time from somewhere.
Martyn - it`s nice to see you are feeling a bit more upbeat - things will get better i`m sure. it`s nice to see that you have doggies to keep you company, i`d be lost without my 2 monsters. What breed are they?
Tru - Many Happy Returns !:bdaycake:
Smoky - thanks for taking the time to post an update, hope Eric improves soon and you get sorted for work with something that fits in/suits you for your family.
((((hugs)))) to anyone else who feels that they need to grab one.
Well the weather here is really dull and miserable and the fog has not lifted at all, it`s very dense, no doubt the hounds will enjoy it when we go out shortly.
I`ll probably come back dripping wet and look a mess by the time i get to w**k.
Must dash
Have a lovely day everyone.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
Ohhh thank goodness I found this, I joined yesterday and was looking forward to being part of the chat but couldn't find it so I posted on yesterdays, feel stupid now. Anyway morning to all and a big thank you to everyone that has made me feel welcome. Prayers and thoughts to the ones with relatives who are in hosp, I gather that there are a few having read through the posts. My DH and I have been invited to a rugby watching party 4.30 for 5pm. Drinks will be flowing so don't know how much of the game I will see. Wishing you all a good week-end.0

Morning Guys!
Not having a very good day so far today:rolleyes: ...but we are off to nephews later and no doubt we will have a laugh round there:D ....normally end up playing a board game.
OH bought me the old Bros album on CD this week and it bought back some good memories lol. DD thought we were going a bit mental when we started singing to "when will I be famous?":rotfl: ....classic tunes though.
Visiting other family tomorrow, so abit of travelling to do and at the hospital all day monday which Im not looking forward too. Going to be another knackering week.
WM has been on twice today and hung outside. The DW needs to go on later and toilet has been cleaned. The rest of the house is fine. Uniform has been washed for Monday. OH has popped to Asda to get the cheap Creme Eggs (12 for £2:o )....I love them and some other stuff we need.
DD only at school M-W this week and not back till the following Tuesday. Hoping to be well enough to take her to the Zoo at Colchester as her pass is nearly due to run out. She has had 3 exams this week and needs to chill a bit. The teachers are harrassing the students ATM about their options next year and DD is struggling on which ones to choose. They have to take a minimum of 2 languages which must include Latin and she loathes French and German:rolleyes: She wants to do Zoology, so will need to check exactly what they require, but assume sciences, maths, english etcSo many decisions for a 13yr old!
Anyway, must go.
Hugs to all.

Hester---whats katy done now??? she is loopy!!
first apologies, haven't posted for a week for two reasons, work has been hectic and hubby has kept stealing the laptop of me all week! He seems to have his ebay addiction back:rolleyes: The good news is that I have just checked the banking online and I have finally made a dent in the overdraft. I have halfed it and feeling very pleased with myself:D
Anyway, I have the laptop all to myself today, as he gone out walking, on a 15 mile walk :T no it's just me and ds2 today!!
I have finally caught up with housework, dw been on and emptied, washer just doing the coloured load and then I will iron them tommorow.
Just finished menu plan for next week, just have to figure out what we are going to eat over easter. We normally have lamb on Easter sunday, so will have to do plan for next week shortly:D

Hello All - been mising for a few days, but am trying to catch-up! Smoky - am just so full of admiration for how strong you are being. Glad to hear Eric is as strong-minded as you and hanging on in there. Hope you get the childcare bit sorted and more flexible working. Take care
Happy Birthday Tru!
VickyA - want to know how the inspection went please??? I am now stressed beyond belief about it all - may go completely loopy before they come! Someone told me they'll have caught up with all the backlog by Easter...so could be next week then???? Only good thing would be a relaxing break!
Have managed to keep up with my HW this week - feel good about that! However, DS is looking for another job - and has left his present one. That sort of thing was ok when he was single, but I am now petrified thinking that he has partner and DGD to think of and how will he find the rent????? Fingers toes and everything else crossed. He won't reply to phone messages or texts.Resolution:
Think twice before spending anything!0
