If you don't mind me asking - can you trace where you got this product from? Are you absolutely and thoroughly confident that it's the real thing and if so, why are you sure?
It's just that this buyer is behaving like someone who feels that they have been deceived. Put yourself in her shoes. How would you react if the product was off/fake/suspect and the seller was just telling you that it was the real thing?
That's why I ask whether you are sure you have not passed off a fake, unknowingly.

It's 100% the real thing. Hubby bought it for me for Christmas in a set this year. I do wish I'd just taken it back now.
If you read the thread you'll see their story changes every few minutes. That's why I don't believe them. And the tone of their first email was really aggressive.
I've bought things before that I felt weren't what I was expecting, but would never email someone something so rude. Or pretend I worked for a company when I didn't.
I'm happy to go through ebay's correct procedures as I think it's obvious she's pulling a fast one. I just wish she'd stop emailing me with more and more silly theories about the item being fake.Save me from spending...

they couldnt have read the listing right if you said it was silver but gold plated,
I agree, it just really hacks me off that the buyer didn't just say, sorry but I want to back out as didn't read it properly.
It's drives me mad that Ebay wont get involved and get the negative feedback retracted - if someone from Ebay took the time to read the listing and email exchanges they would see the buyer has pulled a fast one over me.0 -
And when the new feedback rules come in people like this can seriously ruin your reputation!0

I think they forget sometimes that customer service extends to sellers too.
I had a negative feedback removed by Amazon when I was scammed, after sending them a scan of the relevant proof of posting and the full refund I ended up giving. I was annoyed enough that the guy potentially had my book AND definitely had my money but then he negged me, calling me a liar and a thief!!
If Amazon can do it, why can't eBay? I've only had a handful of bad experiences, out of about 1000 sales, but a few have put me off selling for a good few months afterwards.I joined the 21k debt free in 2 years head to head challenge 12 December 06

I have over 600 feedback and it's 99.2% positive, I'm not too bothered about the odd neg. But when people take your goods/money whether they're a seller or a buyer it is annoying that ebay don't seem to view each case individually. I'd really like to stop using paypal as I've read so many horror stories about it recently, but I don't know if that would put buyers off.

I sold have over 1000 items on eBay and I am afraid it never gets better, each of the 4 disputes I have had have been a nightmare. PayPal is as bad, their fast track dispute system (10) days took 64 days, with lots of proof that the buyer was at it, emails contradicting each other etc etc. false shipping numbers and on and on. Eventually they were all settled in my favour unfortunately eBay equals seller beware. Breath deeply and remember most of buyers are honest and reasonable and good luck.0
