Have you any of the identical cream you sold? if so, take it to a Clarins counter, say it was a present and you have all the buyer's issues with it. See wot the Clarins consultant says when you say you don't think it is the genuine article!

Hopefully it will give you some ammo for dealing with the buyer ....

• Good Luck. I too have been put off selling odds & sods on ebay, around Xmas time we had a parcel that didnt arrive & also a non payer! Not as it should be any more! Got stuff I could do with selling but quite frankly I cant be ar**d with the thought of all the hassle I had! We have 100% feedback, just have a clear out now & again. Its such a shame that these people ruin it for the rest of us!!! MUPPETS!
Good luck sorting it all out! x

"I have just got back from Debenhams clarins counter, and the consultant agreed with me that the cream looks and smells completly different."

Yeah right.

I'd be tempted to ignore her from now on, and save my energy for the Rest of Life.

They're blatantly lying. Why would someone who buys their make-up etc in ebay suddenly go to Debenhams? Should I just ignore this last message - i think they know they're in the wrong and are trying to make me feel bad. But I know 10000000% there was nothing wrong with the cream. uuugh!!! I could really do without this - I've got enough problems as it is.

Quite agree!
The non payer I had told me that they had family problems over xmas & thats why payment wasnt forthcoming, I felt sorry for her assuming there to have been a death! Then she emailed & asked if she could swap her item for something else & said her brother had already got said item!!!!!! Nuff said, I explained that I wasnt a shop & she should pay up!
Stick to your guns!

Any shop assistant or consultant will say an item is fake as soon as they hear it was not purchased from them. If they make people believe that everything bought at a discount is a fake then more people will go back to buying direct and they will earn more commission.

Thanks you guys:A:A:A. Have just sent one last email saying am happy for them to open dispute with ebay as I'm sure I'll win and can they please stop emailing me. Have been sickly sickly sweet - will not lower myself to their level:p:p:p

Exactly - can you believe she claimed she was a clarins consultant for 4 years - but didn't know their stuff doesn't come in cellophane or that it is scented. Wow! She must have the biggest nose in Scarborough:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

And the best thing about being sickly sweet and polite is to know just how irritating it will be for her to read! (apart from the obvious glow you get from behaving impeccably, of course).

Simple really... find the list of ingredients as per official Clarins info.
If 'parfum' is on it - case closed.

Did you go through the full NPB process? If he failed to respond to this, the rating should be removed.

Oh yes, i've had numerous abusive emails from this idiot... he says that i'd listed the item as solid gold (which I didn't), i'd actually listed it as '-' as it didn't give me the option of gold plated / silver, i'd also put in the description that it was a 3 coloured gold plated, silver bracelet and that all questions should be asked before bidding.

Can't we have a name and shame forum - not just say that this person be banned, but actually paste the email exchanges between buyer & seller so that MSE's and genuine honest ebayers can make up their own minds about them.

I'm really hacked off that i've got a negative feedback and he has put on my feedback that i'm a con artist and should be avoided!!!!!!
