Well done jansus :T ..... I have my WI in just over an hour ... having chicken gnocchi thingy tonight (bit of everything to use up what's in fridge ).

Just out of interest, I was wondering who eats before they get weighed ...... does it make a difference ? My friend that comes with me waits until she gets home before she eats, maybe that's why I keep only losing 1lb each week lol. Be interested to hear thoughts/opinions :D.

Hope everyone else has had a good week??

brussel sprouts are point free - though I suppose it depends how you are cooking them.
My points have gone down since i reached a milestone... all i can think about is food! Help!!!!!

Back from my WI (and tesco shop lol) and I've lost 2 1/2 lb :j...... I got my stone award :D:j:j. Very happy indeed as I wanted to lose a stone before Xmas but I've got there sooner. I do have a couple of 'bad' weekends coming up soon so my next mini target is to get under the next stone bracket (3 1/2lb to go for that).

Fran-o ... do you have time to mealplan? Might be a good way to put into effect all the thoughts about food ;). I'm going to sit down tomorrow and work out next week's meals. It takes me about an hour to do so not too bad (used to take me at least 2 when I first started :rotfl:).

Right off to watch celebrity and have a WW peanut bar as a treat :D.

Have a good week everyone ! xx

  • Good work all!
So, confession time, 2 weeks ago I put on 2 pounds (eek) then a week ago I lost one and this week I lost one and a half. That means altogether I have lost 1/2 in 3 weeks. Oh dear, at least I clawed it back. I am going ever so slowly but I hope that means it is sustainable in the long run. I decided I had 2 stone to lose in total and I am on 10 pounds so that is, if my calculations are correct, 35% of the way there! lol :)

Regarding eating before your weigh in I would say do the same thing each week, so if you eat before it then eat before it, your friend wont lose more or less than you due to one meal but once you stop eating before the weigh in you will feel you have to keep doing it. I do seem to eat less on weigh in day as I don't go until the evening but then I tend to have a slightly more indulgent evening than usual if I have done well.

Anyone else addicted to rich toffee bars? :D

  • The weightwatchers chocolate puddings (1 point, in with the yogurts at asda!) are really yummy, just had one for pudding with satsuma pieces in it, delish!

My butternut squash soup was yummy too (though I do find it keeps me very, ahem, regular, having all this soup) He he :)

thanks jtb2412 for your tips. and Sian (glad its not just me having a wobble - i must get back on track!)

I do meal plan with my other half and we shop carefully - have been doing this a long while to save money, but think I will have to put more thought into it looking more from a ww perspective. I have been using some of the ww online recipes and found some tasty low point dinners (anyone else loving the herby lime chicken kebabs?!).
It is the temptation to go for the biscuits or treats at work or in the evenings that is winding me up! Will prob buy some of the ww treats on the next shopping trip, so when i next want to go for a treat i can at least have a low-point choice. Our morrisons used to do the ww chocolate pots but haven't seen any for a few weeks!
    thanks for your encouragement! :T
