I have decided I need to drink more water so I have a 500ml water bottle that I am going to fill twice a day, in addition to my normal drinking. I have found that, rather than spend a fortune on diet drinks, if I put in a few dashes of concentrated lemon juice and one sweetener it tastes like a shop bought drink but costs next to nothing :)

Ok, here I am...I've been lurking I'm so ashamed of being such a bad weight watcher!!! :o

Right, deep breath..at WI on Saturday morning I PUT ON 3.5LBS (my name is puddings and I'm a foodaholic) let that be a warning to you all not to eat your own weight in delicious sweet goodness. So I anticipate another 2 weeks to get that off. Am trying so hard to be good but am finding it tough - am on day 2. I'm also finding it a real struggle to get motivated and get down the gym so I need to think of new exercise things to do. I'm off work next week so will try some of the classes and see if that will stop me walking out half way through!

Well well done to you fabulous lot! Am proud of you all! Karen, how brilliant to drop a dress size! I have binned my 'fat' clothes so I can never ease back into them over time. Do it!

Sian - my 3.5lb gain puts your 1/2lb in the shade! Agree with you on the water, I have a 500ml bottle on my desk which i try to fill at least three times a day. I have no added sugar squash (currently tropical) as I can't stand water. I defo think water helps with weight loss too. Didn't do that either last week...

Yesterday I noticed that my bacon went out of date so I had to cook the lot. Today have had a bacon and tomoato roll for brekkie with a yogurt (4pts) a pitta bread stuffed with bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo (3.5) and pom bears (1.5) and a ww bar (1.5) and tonight for dinner I'm going to have fishfingers and BNS chips as always but only if I get in at a reasonable time which i'm not sure i will....

Tomorrow will be more bacon based delights!! :rotfl:
Really should be doing some work...

changed my weigh in from monday evenings, to tues mornings, as i'm convinced i weigh less in the morning, and i was right, lost 3ibs this morning

Shazrobo, I weigh myself every morning and night (naughty I know). I'm ALWAYS at least 3 pound heavier at night than first thing in the morning. Guess which is my favourite? :D

Find the line Puds, find the line ;)
That's the only good thing about having to be wheat free - I really have no choice other than to resist now!

Now Puddings, I wonder, where do you keep getting this stuff from? I have to make sure there is nothing in the house to tempt me :) The same goes for in my car and as people at work know I am doing ww I feel I can't cheat there. Can you ensure that you have a ready supply of low point treats instead?

    Hi Everyone!!!
Well I went to WW this morning and was not happy as I have stayed the same!!!!!!Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!
Anyhow it could have been worse so I guess I have to be pleased with it!!I have had a pig out today and I have written the next 6 days out of 21 points a day!!
Since the 19th May I have lost a grand total of 5.5lbs. Would have liked more but I may have to be happy with a stone loss by Xmas instead of my planned 2.5stones ha ha!!!
On a positive note my OH has been told that he is not one of the 9 men to be made redundant at the Corus plant where he has worked for some 34 years and also my 25 year old daughter has been offered a teaching placement (maths) at a school up near Newcastle. She will get a decent salary and after she has finished her years training they have said there will be a job for her in the same school. All good stuff as she moved back up to Darlington last October after splitting with her bf of 7 years---she was living down in Norwich after doing her degree down there!!!She was half way through her PGCE and it meant she was forced to leave and move back up to her home town as she was only getting a student loan and they had a very expensive flat between them!!!So all is looking good for her which makes me feel a lot happier---it isnt nice to see your daughter go through a nasty break up(been there myself years ago!!!!).I will be sad to see her move again but at least she will still be in the north east so i can visit every few weeks----unlike Norwich which took the best part of a day to get there!!!!!
Good luck to everyone this week xxx

Was that issue from a meeting? Mine has a red cover and I'm sure it says spring 2009 on it. Got it from Tescos and to be honest nearly all the recipes in it I'd already got either from mags or ww cookbooks. Might have to bid on that one you've shown.
