Roasted with some chilli and salt sprinkled on them they are really good. I don't think they go crispy but I read somewhere that if you whip up an egg white (free!) and dip veggie chips into them before putting them in the oven it works as a kind of batter. I totally love butternut squash, just roasted in half I could eat the whole thing, and roasted with some peppers and tomatoes and then blitzed into soup it has a lovely taste, mmm, hungry now!God is good, all the time

Hi All,
I am stuck at work and all of this talk of butternut squash is making me very hungry!
I am a vegetarian so that is pretty good in one respect. Unfortunately all of the points that I save on meaty products are totally swllowed up by my ridiculously sweet tooth
I have my second WI tomorrow and am a bit nervous but I have been fairly good and have kept up with the walking so hopefully it won't be too bad even though I am planning on having a pizza for tea - yum!
I am also going our for cocktails this week and am planning to stay away from my favourite creamy ones but was wondering if anyone could advise me on the best cocktails to have using the minimum of points? I have quite a few saved so I want to have a good time - but not too good as I want to eat my own (considerable) body weight in lardy food if I have a hangover :rotfl:
Jokkettuk - thanks for the welcome. I really think if I can just talk to other people who are doing the same it will really help. I love my friends but most of them are pretty skinny and don't understand the struggle I have so it is great to find you guys.
Thanks everyone for the welcome and I am loving all the tips! :T0 -
just had the ww sausages for tea, they are lovely and only 1 an half points eachenjoy life, we only get one chance at it:)0

Hi Dee-Dee
I'm not really a drinker, so wouldn't really be able to advise on points in cocktails, other than to say I bet there are quite a few in each one;) Sorry.
There is a list of alcohol values in the shopping guide and eating out guide but after a couple of cocktails, I wouldn't be able to work out the points anyway!!:rotfl:
Good luck with your second WI tomorrow.
I had my first weigh in today and lost 5.5 lbs! Yey!!!:j:j:j:j
