    Hi All:hello:
I am flippin ravenous!!!! I've so got the munchies!!!! :EasterBunI know it's the easter bunny but that's how I feel!!!

I've just had my evening meal followed by a WW chocolate cake bar, 1.5 pts. HOW. RUBBISH. ARE. THEY. FOR. ONE. AND. A. HALF. POINTS:mad:!!
    Have they shrunk or what:rotfl:???
I will not be buying these cake bars again. They are so not worth 1.5 points!!!!! I'll stick to my toffee bars, straight from the fridge, they take ages to eat.

I have earned 3 bonus points exercising over the last 2 days, i'll drag my friend out at lunchtime again tomorrow (weather permitting:rolleyes:). Hope you are all doing OK?

    I'm struggling this week!

I bought - on a whim - some shell-less mussels earlier today in Asda. What (apart from soup/broth/ramens) can I make with them? Any ideas?

    They're v low on points though :-D

Hi Indiegirl, I can't help you I'm afraid - I would rather hammer red hot rusty nails into my eyeballs than eat mussels _pale_ .......
Hopefully, someone will have some suggestions.

I was struggling earlier but i've just watched the whole of Eastenders on my mini-stepper - at least that stopped me eating for at least half an hour:o:rotfl:Thats 5 exercise bonus points over 2 days (that i'm not going to 'spend')

Hi all, hope everyone's doing ok............I'm not :(
I've been ill with an upset tum for over 3 weeks and haven't been able to stick to ww atall. Luckily I don't seem to have put on any weight. Seen the doc again today and he thinks I may be wheat intolerant  Virtually everything I usually eat contains wheat so I'm in a right fix now! Have been looking at wheat free foods and it appears everything is higher in points if it doesn't contain wheat. How unfair!!
Think I'm going to be living on jacket potatoes and beans from now on.
Don't suppose anybody here is in the same boat and can give me some tips?

Ooh, mussels are great! I love them in a tomato sauce, would be lovely with some spaghetti, or you could have them stirred together with some extra light philadelphia to make a lovely creamy seafood pasta sauce.

Hi everyone - had a disaster at work today as the motherboard died on my computer, so have only just read everyone's posts. Sounds like we all seem to spend all day thikning about food :D

Karen, your health is the most important thing. You can get back down to dieting once you're feeling better. When you're ill you just have to eat what you feel like at the time & then afterwards draw a line under it all & start again.

Hope you're feeling 100% soon & that you get the wheat question resolved. Good luck :)

    Ok, catch up time...

WW cake bars - agree, not worth it! Mussels - eeeeewwwww! Well done on the stepping Cal! Karen - eat what your body wants/needs. It'll take a bit of research but there must be plenty out there for you to eat. If I hear anything I'll let you know. Moonflowers - I don't know what I'd do without my computer!! I couldn't get msn the other day and i was lost!

Right, I am a huge HUGE Michael Jackson fan so today is a sad day but I will not turn to chocolate like I would normally. Have just had an Options Coconut choc though.

    Nando's for lunch - hurrah!
Really should be doing some work...

Ooh, I am hungry. And it's a while until lunch. And I only have a salad for it. Hmm, have lemon meringue bar in deak drawer...
    ;)

With mussels and other seafood they are very healthy in terms of low fat content and quite reasonably priced too, not sure why people find mussels disgusting, oysters though, wouldn't eat them! I think it is about how much food you tried when you were young too; I don't think I could bring myself to eat tripe or other offal really but would be happy to eat kangaroo, horse, ostrich etc, I find that if something looks too much like the animal I don't like it e.g. prawns with heads on!

So, how long can I resist the urge to snack...

Chomping on lemon meringue bar now...
They are good but I wonder how much of a rip off they are really, they are pretty small, surely if you made something up yourself you could do it much more economically, any good recipes for rice crispie bars out there?
