It was exactly as intended. If you see it as silly then it perhaps has eluded you. The post about the Duke and Duchess was using the argument proposed by the poster I quoted. Perhaps it was their post that was "silly"?
You don't understand that taking a stated principle to extremes is one way to test it?

And perhaps YOU should remember that every time someone else is paying tax, that this Government,which is the same Government that controls the DWP, throws millions of tax payers money into a failing Bank and a needless War.
I appreciate that you might feel the need to make a response, but I don't understand how tax payers bailing out NR or paying for the War has anything to do with me or the point I made. Or means tested benefits.0
