1p Energy Saving Bulbs

This is only on the normal standard fittings one not the small screw as tested all them and came up full price.

But thanks OP managed to get 20 or so of the normal (screw and push) ones in 40/60 and 100watt.

This is also on the spiral ones aswell

my spiral lightbulbs cameup at £2.94 each and the sa said that was a mistake and reduced them to1 p each I got 4 of them

Managed to get 18 today. Went through the self scan and the woman stopped me half way through and made me look like a criminal! She said only 6 allowed (as I had 8 of one type) so I asked if it was 6 of each type, she said no, 6 in all and then a supervisor came up behind her and said it was 6 of each type. Felt like a blooming shoplifter the way she spoke to me. Think I may complain to CS.

I cleared tesco out this morning, I bought 41 energy saving lightbulbs for 41p. Some for mum, my sister and the neighbour, however when I was at the checkout a man dressed in a shirt and tie came up to me and said "we operate a bulk buying policy at this store, no more than 10 of each item", I said "where is the sign?, I haven't seen one" "You've got me on that one, I don't know where it is" and walked away.:rotfl:

My best bargain to date.
