I've listed some baby clothes of my daughters in job lots, but so far only have two of them being watched out of about 8 listings and only one with a bid of just 99p. I didn't think about the Tuesday 5p day meaning we don't get as much exposure, hopefully I get more interest in the next few days... I'm easily disheartened!! :(

I had listed 20, I added BIN to some of them and those ones seem to go.
For the others, I have only 3 with bids

sucky sucky. Item sold in June to buyer in Chile who has now filed a paypal claim for non receipt. Item cost me £9.60 to post and I only charged £5.85 and was out of pocket from the start and it was a collectors item so for all I know he has got it and about to get his money back too :(

    No more posting international!

I've heard a lot of US buyers saying they won't post abroad because of a few problems - But I've found more problems with buyers in the UK.
If you have proof of postage (receipt), offer to post it to him/her so they can make a claim and explain fraudulent claims - That usually stops them from complaining! Also, I'm putting in all my listings a note to say I'm not to blaim if an item doesn't arrive, but will help them file a claim with the Post Office.
You could always file a counter-claim for non-payment?

The statement 'I am not responsible for lost parcels' is like a red rag to a bull, if you mention that on the ebay forum you'll need a tin hat to cope with the flak. Best remove it from your listings before it causes you problems.

That statement is meaningless and often marks a seller out as being naive and also open to 'testing' by a scammer. If you cannot prove delivery then you will lose a paypal chargeback and what's more may just make the buyer ever more angry and frustrated enough to leave a neg. Without tracking you can't possibly know whether the item has arrived, so for your own peace of mind it is best to assume the buyer is telling the truth and refund them. Then after 15 working days for uK parcels and 25 working days for overseas parcels just use your COP to start a claim for compensation from Royal mail.

The seller is covered against loss in the post by either using a trackable postage method or by keeping a COP, the buyer relies entirely on the honesty of the seller.

ASlso I do not understand what you mean by starting a counter claim for non payment? The buyer paid otherwise why would you have shipped the goods. Making a false claim of non payment is firstly difficult when th ebuyer can show the original paypal transaction ID and also subject to a warning and a possible suspension by ebay for fraud.
