Friends, debtors, countrymen (and women),
what is ebay doing - starting a 5p listing day on a Tuesday?
I have had very, very little interest...I know it's only 2 days but still...
am I just horribly suspicious.... but are they are hoping to rake it in when we all relist because we did not get the usual thurs - two weekends viewing?
I'm peed off with ebay. They have stopped me listing perfumes. I have been given some by my cousin who works in a beauty dept..all new, sealed etc which has been a really valuable earner for me ...I've only got a few left and ebay's told me I can't list any for 30 days ...because of 'limitations'. They haven't responded to my angry reply. I have 100 per cent positive feedback by the way. Does anyone know what's going on - is this a measure to prevent counterfeiting etc
feel a bit like this

Yeah I too have noticed its been really slow for the things I listed on Tuesday and also things completing tonight were not that great either - but think you have a point re not getting two weekends viewings!
Perfume I know nothing about but given the media attention re counterfeiting I think your concept of their measure could be right!

Oh Oh ! I want to join I just entered into the realm of ebay 3 days ago and I am addicted!! The thing is I'm selling books.. Im just hoping they sell ...
I'd like to set myself a target of 300 pounds. I have already made 28.73!Make £10 a day in July Challenge - Started day 10 - total so far £28.73/ £210. (ebay addict:cool:)0 -
I had a similar problem last year when I tried to list some genuine designer handbags. I had about 18 to sell but they would only let me list about 6 at a time and then I got a message warning me about counterfeiting!! I too have 100% positive feedback (currently standing at 952). I didn't know about the 30 days rule, though. I just waited a few days and then listed some more.Friends, debtors, countrymen (and women),

Sometimes buyers don't use common sense, though. They see a so-called designer bag with a start price of £4.99, and then are surprised when it turns out not to be genuine!!Sealed Pot challenge #59SPC5 total £473.600 -
yoohooo 2 days since I first read this thread and I'm so pleased! I had given up on listing smaller items because of the time it takes.
I started again after reading this and I've already sold 4 (including something that I haven't used in the last 9 years! Talk about clutter)
Thank thank thank you for starting this challenge.:D
I'm going to start again listing books on Amazon as well.Got rid of all my credit card debt, reduced crazy utilities bills, learned to budget, and now trading down to a smaller property. Lurking around the DIY forum.0 -
Just got round to listing some moisturisers and lipsticks. My brooch is still going up and doesn't end til Sunday! So much to list, so little time
