Just dropping in to wish everyone good luck with their targets. I would join in, but, I nearly did myself a mischief listing 300 items last weekend, which is pretty much the last of what I have kicking around to sell. I've been selling things I'm finished with and unwanted free gifts for about 4 years and made nearly £2k in that time, just from periodically clearing clutter.

    You can do it!

Does anyone know how to get the turbolister? I can't find it on Ebay or on here. Also, does anyone know if when you open a shop on Ebay, do you have to start paying VAT on thigs you sell, or is it just another format so people can see all your items easier?

Hi you do not pay VAT on ebay shops its just another format for selling on ebay which allows you to have a long selling time (think its 30 days) and you can list your items as buy it now which lets people buy things instantly rather than hanging around waiting for an auction to close

Hi Kashton, you can stop auctions early but it is tricky and you won't get back the fees you paid for listing it the second time. See
    http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/end_early.html

I would probably stop the auction because the £30 was quite a good amount and you might not get that much this time, but i would try to contact all the bidders and explain the situation so they know it was a genuine mix up.

    Hope this helps :)

  • Hello

Can I join in please? I'm trying to pay off just over £2000 from my credit card so although I have small bits of income coming in from elsewhere, I'm going to aim to declutter and get £1,000 from ebay.

I already have some bits on from last week which are on target to sell for over £80 so it'll be a good start.

Good luck with this everyone!

Finally listed my first 4 items of the challenge. I'm aiming to list things twice a week if I can then I don't get too bogged down. Will update my sig when I get a minute.

Four of my items have sold for £10.90.

If items sell for more than a £1 for example £5 are we counting that as 5 items??
