ooh, can I join in please?! I'm about to move (next week - ) and really want to get rid of some [STRIKE]crap[/STRIKE] I mean quality items
because I'm moving somewhere about half the size! I'm not, strictly speaking, still in debt ... but I am hoping to up my savings. So am I allowed to join in? I would have to give myself a fairly modest target of £750 (which would clear the debt I've got at 0%)
LBM 1: May 06 - £16,900  . LBM 2: Jan 08 -£29,500
Debt now: £150 (at 0%).:j0 -
PS - although I do want to start immediately, I'll have to wait two weeks before I can actually list anything because I'll be without internet for a week when I move - doh! but before I move I'm going to start an eBay box ready for listing when I'm back online!LBM 1: May 06 - £16,900  . LBM 2: Jan 08 -£29,500

I love this thread!
If anyone really does want to sell 7000 items on ebay its worth thinking about trying to sell 1400 items for £5 each, or 700 items for £10 each.
Also: it is a lot cheaper to have a "shop" (£6 per month) where you can make cheap 28 day listings if you are thinking of selling volume cheap items.
I have tons and tons of beads and I'm aiming to sell the lot as made up jewellery.
my top tip for ebay selling is to keep track of what ebay will charge you and what the item cost you, and what the postage and packing cost you in a spreadsheet (this is what I will be doing) so you can keep track of the actual profit- otherwise at the end of a month of listing like crazy, you may end up with a big listings bill that could take the shine off your fortune.
As soon as I'm reconnected to the net at home (as opposed to at work, lol) I'll be listing like a maniac!!
