    Hi Pitlanepiglet,

I think it was ches who recommended using washing powder. I've added your thread to that one to keep all the replies together.

Ooooh! I need to try this! How much washing powder did you use in a full bath? How long did you leave it for?

No idea how much powder, DH did it, probably quite a lot knowing him!

We left it from yesterday morning until this morning and also left the shower curtain and the manky tea-towels in that long as well.

  • MrsTine you are a genius!
Thanks for the tip about biological washing powder, I tried it on my shower tray that had this horrid grey stuff (grime? dead skin? soap scum?) that I couldn't get off whatever I'd tried. I just waited till after the shower had been used so it was wet, sprinkled the powder on and waited an hour or so and it came off really easily. I had previously tried all manner of non OS spays and potions and even a scotch brite scrubby (don't do it!) so am well pleased. Many thanks. xxx
